RESCUE in POTATO 2009 Feb
I am quite sure that the filming in winter is terribly tough especially in the morning, but I just pray for their success.

Nakamaru(N): Privately, I am so-so close to Massu, but currently we had very few chances to work together, didn't we?
Masuda(M): When we took the photos for this drama together, Nakamaru-kun, you mumbled complaint, didn't you? You said "this is unnatural"(LAUGH).
N: For, don't you feel it strange? This time when we were given the drama work together, I thought that Massu hadn't been grown up well and you just became older(LAUGH).
M: Eh, me!? You are so evil(CRY).
N: I am definitely joking~(LAUGH). But, we both didn't change much, right?
M: I agree, Nakamaru-kun didn't.
N: This time our characters are the same age.
M: Both of us are the role who try to be the rescue ranger. We are the best friends and cheering each other to be the rescue rangers together. Yutaka Tezuka who I am acting is technically advanced among the trainees, but his mentality seems to be weak. He can't de daring unlike Daichi Kitajima acted by Nakamaru-kun. That point is similar to me, rather he is as if myself.
N: Daichi is the character who moves without thinking about what will happen later. I am not similar to Daichi. As I am cautious or rather conservative, somehow partially I envy him. On creating our role, as we are both trainees, first of all, our hair became short(LAUGH). As Massu has a straight hair, it's troublesome, isn't it?
M: Yeah, once I cut into this length I need to set it then it would be troublesome.
N: As I my hair has a curl, it's quite easy to set! To mention about something troublesome, our training before filming began was really awful~. We had a training to fly on the helicopter and go down from about 30m height... well~ that was tough, wasn't that~!!
M: As Nakamaru-kun becomes weak at the high place.
N: Yes. I have a fear of heights, but as the ranger was good at teaching I could become confident. So now I can do that....
M: ...Then, did you ride on the helicopter?
N: I lied about the helicopter!(LAUGH) But we trained at about 15m high place didn't we. We were tied only with a rope.
M: I became fearful when we reached over 10m! For the training for the rescue rangers, our muscle strength is important but getting the knack is also important. At first as we had neither strength nor the knack it was a pain, wasn't it.
N: Balancing is difficult! But once we used to, it became fun, didn't it.
M: As we can surely do once we tried many times, (*once we used to do it we can afford to evaluate our own training and) we can think "I might have looked cool now"(LAUGH).
N: In addition the rangers are good at praising us! As they say "you have really a good sense", we can feel confident(LAUGH).
M: They are really kind to us at teaching, but they are really severe to the actual trainees training next to us!
N: At the training, they are all calm, but once the rescue request arrives and they are going, the appearance of the rangers changes. Ah, they are the real rangers, I thought.
M: Even if the trainee became to the situation "I can't do anymore!", they say "you guys shouldn't be rescued" and nobody helps. As rescue rangers are the person who rescue others, they must not be rescued by others. From hearing it, I thought their work is something at the risk of their lives.
N: Yes, it's a tough work. Our filming started at the beginning in December is also tough. We do the push-up, and the leader grabs us by the collar. There is full of manly scenes~. And... we rode on the fire engine!
M: We rode! I was happy!
N: inside the fire engine was great you know I remembered, in the fire engine Massu was falling asleep~(LAUGH)
M: Nakamaru-kun was also almost asleep when I realized myself(LAUGH). Well anyway, inside the fire engine is great!
N: At the moment we rode on it, I was really excited! The body of the car is huge, and the car navigation system was extremely exact and its display was big! There was full of new experiences!
M: The car navigation wasn't the system which ends its work once the car arrives near to the destination. It shows the route to the destination in detail and I was moved.
N: By the way about the highlight of the 1st episode... there seems to be the bathing scene(LAUGH)
M: I heard of it, I heard. All the ranger trainees will take the bath together right?
N: As we trained ourselves at the training, we do want to show our muscle, don't you think so?
M: I want to show!(LAUGH) In these days, all the actors take off clothes and "we gained muscle, didn't we?" we are boasting to each other.
N: I, got a habit to see me on the mirror(LAUGH) As I gained surprisingly lots of muscle through the training for a month! Let me say that I am even taking protein.
M: Anyway as we all are doing our best, please consider our muscle as one of your fun!
