Epilogue:
“I didn’t realised the zoo was opened on Christmas,” remarked Sho, as he was dragged by an over enthusiastic Aiba around the place. Aiba had been even more energetic since his pet shop was given back to him as mysteriously as it had been taken away.
“I should bring you here more often,” commented Aiba, laughing with glee.
Sho followed the over hyper man, until they came to the huge Christmas tree at the main entrance of the zoo, where Sho stopped suddenly, causing Aiba to fall back into Sho’s arms.
“Merry Christmas, Aiba-chan,”
“Merry Christmas to you too, Sho-chan,”

“I love you too… times two,”
“Why times two?”
“One for that night at George Clooney, and the other for that night 19 years ago,”
Jun smirked as he saw the messily wrapped gift from Nino. He didn’t want to ruin the badly done wrapping, but he desperately wanted to know what was inside. Carefully untying the ribbon and removing the cover, Jun eagerly peered inside like a child offered candy to see its contents.
“He knows I hate Hayashi Rice,” Jun half-frowned, half-laughed, starting to dig into the Hayashi Rice which he had missed so badly.
Then, while his spoon was travelling from the plate to his mouth, Jun didn’t know why, but he felt some strong force pulling his attention away from Nino’s attention-grabbing Hayashi Rice, and towards the small oval window.
He now knew why.
Outside, was thousands of shooting stars flying by at breakneck speed. Shooting past him like someone was gently flinging silver glitter over the world. Upon closer inspection, Jun realised they weren’t just any ordinary shooting stars, it was the Leonid meteor showers.
“I wonder if he is watching this…”

“Kirei,” breathed Nino.
He found himself at the same hill he was at 19 years ago, where he met that someone who changed his life for the better. This time, although he badly wanted to not bring his coat with him again, so that Jun could miraculously pop up and offer him his, Nino thought it was a pretty far-fetched idea, and brought his own instead.
Looking up at the shooting stars soaring across the sky above him, Nino gave himself a shy smile, while saying out loud that he didn’t need to make the same wish twice.
He was definitely going to meet Jun again.
