Note: I don’t like writing OCs, so the other characters will just be Johnnys.
Chapter 14:
The helicopter landed on a soft patch of sandy golden brown sand with a soft thud as Jun not so patiently waited for the helicopter to settle before he was allowed to alight.
In wasn’t long before both of his feet were firmly on the ground, following after the pilot who was a local and knew where the restaurant where Nino was working at was. Jun then found himself standing outside and small two-storey restaurant.
All eyes turned to stare him as Jun made his way through the double doors.
“It’s Matsumoto Jun,” came a thunderous whisper, followed by an equally loud murmur, “He’s even hotter in person,”
But the other patron’s gossips were the least of Jun’s worries, all he needed to do know was to find his Nino.
“Matsumoto-sama!” greeted the restaurant manager too excitedly, “what brings you to our little restaurant?”
But Jun didn’t have the opportunity to reply for he was bombarded with a train of questions while being pushed towards the second floor, which was apparently the VIP seating area.
Being forcefully shoved into a seat, Jun wanted to turn on his DoS switch and gave all of them hell, but he had something else more important to do.
“Hayashi Rice,” Jun ordered, without even taking a glance at the menu which was offered to him. The waiter gave him a raised eyebrow, but did not probe as to why he was ordering a non-seafood dish in a seafood restaurant.
Once he was given some peace and quiet, not including the tons of waitress and female customers on the other side of the glass door screaming his name and begging for an autograph, Jun stared out into the vast blue ocean, feeling a sort of calming effect. The sun was about to set, making the sky deep blue with a tinge of orangey red.
The best time for his ultimate confession.
It wasn’t long before the previous waiter reentered the open air seating area and placed the steaming plate of Hayashi Rice in front of him. One scoop of the dish was all it takes.
“Can you get the chef in here?” he asked, trying to sound as if he was dissatisfied with his food.
He saw the waiter gulp visibly, probably thinking about how the infamous Matsumoto Jun was planning to rip the poor chef limb to limb.
Due to the sea of MatsuJun fangirls blocking the glass door, the clueless chef had no idea why he was being summoned, only getting a pitiful glance in return when he asked what’s going on.
“Jun?!” cried Nino in disbelief when he saw a lean figure leaning over the balcony railings.
“Nino, long time no see,” smiled Jun, as Nino went over to his side.
Nino burst out, “what are you doing here? Do you know how much trouble we’ll be in when your mother finds out?”
Jun grinned, “I’m just a guy who came here to see who he’s madly in love with,”
Jun’s sentence was enough to drive the ladies stark raving mad.
Within seconds, Nino and Jun were separated by a sudden flood a girls, screaming incoherently and rabidly.
“You mean you’re Jun’s -” was cut off by a “that’s so not fair”, followed by a “I want your autograph” which was somewhat drowned out by a “Jun is MINE!”
The whole commotion was giving Nino a headache, not to mention he couldn’t breathe properly. Soon the cold railing was against the lower part of his back, the upper part of his body dangerously tilting towards the other side.
One tiny push was all it takes.
“NINO!” cried Jun as he saw his boyfriend being pushed perilously over the short railing. His mind only focused on getting to Nino, Jun elbowed his way to Nino, now caring if he had to break somebody’s arm to do so.
Time came to a halt as Jun reached out to grab Nino who was on the verge of tipping over. He remembered managing to take hold of Nino, but the next thing he knew, the faces of those who had pushed them off became smaller and smaller. The next moment, everything went black.

“I heard about Jun, we need to get there, NOW!”
“I’ll come pick you up, be ready at the helicopter pad,”

“Sakurai-san, Ohno-san,” greeted Nino, his tone calm, but his expression totally betraying his feelings. Sho and Ohno jogged up to Nino, bombarding him with questions.
Nino collapsed into a helpless pile onto the sofa, unable to explain what happened to Sho and Ohno.
“Will he be okay?” asked Nino timidly, looking up at the pair with big hopeful eyes.
Ohno and Sho glanced at each other and shrugged. It wasn’t up to them to decide if Jun was okay or not.
Just then, a doctor with a blinding white lab coat come out of Jun’s ward, frowning slightly. Slightly.
“Are you related to Matsumoto-san?” he asked the three.
They nodded.
“Well, Matsumoto-san seems perfectly fine,” began the doctor, “but he did hit his head pretty hard, so we can’t actually determine if he’s fine. You can go see him now, but keep it short,”
The trio didn’t know if they should be relief or worried, but either ways, they went into the ward.
Sitting on the bed, enjoying a cup of green tea was Jun, dressed in the hospital gown, something Jun wouldn’t be caught dead wearing.
“Hi Jun,” smiled Sho, “are you feeling better,”
“Of course!” snapped Jun, “I am the world’s greatest Matsumoto Jun!”
Sho grinned to himself as he saw that Jun was his usual self. But his grin was wiped off his face a second later when Jun said, “What is this commoner doing in my ward?” pointing to Nino, “I don’t care if he’s yours, Sho, he’s still a dirty lousy commoner who doesn’t deserve to come anywhere near me!”
Too shocked to believe their ears, Sho and Ohno stood rooted to the spot, unable to chase after Nino was left the room sobbing.
