Title: Ryusei yori Dango (Boys over shooting stars) Season 2
Author: Masuhisa
Pairing: Matsumiya, Ohmiya, Sakuraiba, one-sided Junma, slight one-sided Sakumiya
Summary: In the 1st season, we left of at Jun leaving for New York. Nino was offered a job as a chef for a renowned family in New York. So when the two meet after a year, what Matsumiya-ish stuff would happen?
Disclaimer: If I was older than Kitagawa, I would have gotten to them first!
Note: I don’t like writing OCs, so the other characters will just be Johnnys.
Chapter 17:
AN: I would like to first mention that I have nothing against Tegoshi, but I do find him rather displeasing. Anyway, OMG this fic is coming to an end!! I guess many of you can guess the ending (…it is based on the drama…) *Sighs* Too much HanaDan, so be sure to look out for my randomness. On to the fic!
“WHAT THE *#^%*&*#$@%,” yelled Nino as Sho and Ohno broke the news to him. If it were any other time, the pair would have been appalled that such a small, timid and not to mention really cute guy can use such language, but since they had other more important matters to attend to, Sho and Ohno simply nodded at Nino’s statement.
“How could he do this to me?” wailed Nino, throwing the cloth in his hands on this spot on the counter which has an imaginary face. Tegoshi’s face to be more exact.
“He is Jun after all,” reasoned Ohno sheepishly, poking his ramen with his chopsticks.
“Yes,” hissed Nino, “but he’s my Jun,”
Sho and Ohno coincidentally reached for their respective glass of water at the same time and took a long swig, finding an excuse to not say anything. The awkward silence was killing the pair as they saw Nino’s dull, sunken, almost suicidal-ish look, Sho and Ohno couldn’t help but feel their hearts contract painfully.
Sho and Ohno replaced the glasses on the counter at the same time, glancing nervously at Nino.
“Nino,” started Sho, not sure if he should bring it up, “why are you smirking?”
The oblivious Ohno turned to Nino and stared at him. Nino’s grin wasn’t obvious to the untrained eye, and would look like he was frowning, but since Sho was once a Nino-expert, he could tell the difference.
“Time to displace Tegoshi,” grinned Nino.

Sho looked at the piece of paper in his hands, not knowing if he should smile or shudder. He bet his parents would definitely kill him, 1 million yen!
“I still can’t believe you booked this entire resort,” cried Aiba gleefully, watching a nearby fountain splashing away.
Sho winced. It wasn’t like he needed to be reminded of what he did. Maybe his parents would cancel his credit cards like how Kaeda canceled Jun’s. Speaking of Kaeda, if it wasn’t for her, Sho wouldn’t have had to spend a million yen on reserving the entire ‘V6 Beach Resort’.
“Thanks, Sho’ mumbled Nino quietly, fiddling with his fingers as he watched Sho sign the papers.
“Anything for you,” Sho heard himself say automatically. He bit his tongue upon realizing what he had just said, thinking, “I am NOT cheating on Masaki,”
Luckily for Sho, Nino didn’t seem to have heard what Sho said.
But just then, a loud, shrill, overly high pitched voice came, “Guys! We’re here!”
Sho spun around in a blink of an eye, wondering what’s up with Jun’s voice, since he was the only one who has yet to come. But to his horror… it was Tegoshi.
When Tegoshi spotted Sho and Nino at the reception, he immediately rushed over and said at the speed of a skinkansen, “Hi, Sho-chan, I hope you don’t mind me inviting myself to your private party. It’s ok with you right? Of course, it’s ok, I mean it’s not like one more person can cost much, right? I mean, I am Jun’s boyfriend, so I should be allowed to come. Thanks for inviting me!”
Without waiting for Sho, who desperately wanting to kick Tegoshi, to reply, Tegoshi turned to Nino and went off at the speed of light, “Nino-kun, I heard that you were Jun’s previous boyfriend. But too bad, that was the past, this is the present and Jun’s present boyfriend is me, so I hope you keep you paws off of my Jun,”
Tegoshi gave the two a big bimbo smile before rushing up to Jun who and talking to Ohno and placed a protective arm around his waist.
“That bastard,” hissed Nino, his face all red and smoke coming out of his ears. His fists were clenched so tight that his bones were on the verge of breaking.
“Great!” groaned Sho, “now that Tegoshi is here, our plans are ruined! So what do you plan to do now?”
Sho turned to Nino, but instead found an empty spot beside him. Surprised, Sho looked up and saw Nino brisk walking toward a room labeled ‘Arcade’.
Sho sighed.
“Sho-chan,” called Aiba, “are you done with the paperwork?”
Sho nodded.
“Then what are you waiting for?”
Sho sauntered up to the group.
He distributed the room keys, making sure to leave Tegoshi out, hoping he’ll take it as a hint to get lost, “Aiba and I will sea sporting until dinner, Nino’s at the arcade.” informed Sho.
“I’ll be fishing!” offered Ohno happily, his gear already in his hands.
“And I’ll be in my room,” said Jun sulkily, hands in his pockets as he walked off in the direction of the lifts.
“Our room, you mean!” exclaimed Tegoshi, chasing after Jun, “Sho-chan didn’t give me a key, so that means I’ll be sharing with you!”
Sho felt his jaws drop. It wasn’t a gesture to encourage Tegoshi to get closer to Jun!

When Jun and Tegoshi finally got to ‘their’ room, Tegoshi went darting around the place, complaining about the ‘awful colour combination’, whining that the ‘inefficient’ bar did not stock his favorite chocolates, grumbling about the ‘not to his taste’ layout of the room etc.
Jun sighed and wondered why he had fallen for such a person who was so bitchy. But if Tegoshi was truly his boyfriend, Jun was willing to stay with him. He did choose Tegoshi before, it just that he had no idea why he did.
“Tegoshi?” asked Jun quietly, completely contradicting his character, “can you make that delicious Hayashi Rice again? Now,”
Tegoshi’s face fell.
“Sure,” he manage to mutter, “I’ll go make it,”

“DIE!” yelled Nino at the top of his lungs, not caring if anybody heard him, it’s not like there was anybody to hear him. His trained, seasoned fingers smashed the buttons of the console.
“DIE, TEGOSHI!!” cried Nino once more, imagining his character using it’s gun to blast the enemy’s , in this case it’s Tegoshi, head off.
After Nino entered the arcade, he could still hear what was going on at the lobby. Jun and Tegoshi were sharing a room? How can that be? When Nino was with Jun, they had never ever shared a room before, does that mean Jun’s serious about Tegoshi? If that is true, what’s his relationship with Jun like?
The big, bold words of ‘Game Over’ started sneering at Nino, laughing at his misery while looking him down.
“I wasn’t asking you!” Nino screamed at the screen, futilely pushing the buttons at random. But a part of Nino knew the screen was right.

“Jun-chan!” Tegoshi grinned, “here’s the Hayashi Rice you wanted,”
Jun looked up from the television which he was not even paying attention to, surprised that Tegoshi could make it that fast.
The dish was placed in front of him. Jun need not be told what to do. His hands automatically shot towards the spoon, using it to scoop up a portion of the meal and placing it in his mouth.
Jun felt so cheated.
“That’s not the Hayashi Rice I want!” bellowed Jun, taking the whole plate of it and smashing it against the ground.
Tegoshi, hands on his hips and a retarded frown on his face, fumed “what do you mean it’s not the Hayashi Rice you want! All Hayashi Rice tastes the same!”
“So you’re not him?” asked Jun, his question more of a statement.
“Who?”
Jun was officially pissed. First he was lied to, then he was made a fool.
“Get out!” roared Jun, flinging the first thing that was within reach, it was a lamp, at Tegoshi.

“Those guys are really late…” commented Aiba, fidgeting impatiently on his seat. He looked at Sho, hoping someone would agree with him, but Sho didn’t even nod, he merely furrowed his eyebrows deep in thought. Aiba then glanced at Nino, who was in the exact same position as Sho.
“I hope they come soon,” said Aiba again, glancing at his friends, “I’m hungry,”
Speak of the devil, and speaking of devils.
“Tegoshi-kun?” said Aiba, his nature forcing him to been nice to Tegoshi, although Sho had told him what evil deeds he had committed, “where are the rest?”
Tegoshi froze for a split second, before reply, “Jun’s at the beach with Ohno,”
“I’ll go get them,” volunteered Nino, standing up abruptly. Nino sneaked a glance at Tegoshi, still VERY pissed at what he has done, then to Aiba who were playfully teasing Sho for spilling the crumbs of the bread, which Aiba had fed him, all over the floor.
“Bye, Nino,” Aiba waved casually, his other hand tickling a Sho who was in a laughing fit.
As the Sakuraiba pair continue to act all lovey dovey and Nino already out of the room, Tegoshi was the only one who smirked as the weatherman on the tiny screen reported a big storm (pun intended) was coming.
