I am back at my glorious Smith. I have 1 more relaxing week before classes start. I am satisfied, but i can't help feeling my departure from home was a bit too hasty. I woke Nif up last night to announce my arrival. There is much to do today.

So i walk into my room tonight, and what do i see lying on the ottoman of my republican roommate? The Marx-Engels Reader. That's right, folks.

I'm sure it's for her economics class, but for a second there... oh man. Strange.

Let me just say that carving wood is murder on the knuckes.

The art project I had to collect dirt for: i got an A-!

My assignment for art class yesterday was to take a walk in the woods. How cool is that?

Everyone is so down here. I think Albright house needs some antidepressants.

Create a situation or a performance where the audience's response is a major part of the work of art. Think Yoko Ono's cut piece. (She sat on the stage with a pair of scissors next to her and invited the audience to cut off a piece of her clothing and keep it.) Any ideas? Nothing too vulgar please.
