That reminds me, I was on deviantart and found this little hidden group of wannabe nazis. It disgusted me. I just don't understand the fascination with such hatred.

Aww, your new pets sound wonderful. I often look to my dog when not feeling well so I hope they bring you some comfort too. :)

I don't get that kind of hatred at all and it so, so disturbing to me that this sort of thing exists. D: Is there any way of reporting these people, on devianart, on YouTube? I wish I could forbid them from ever using the internet again.

They are! :D They're adorable to the Nth degree and it's all that much more hilarious since neither adoption was planned. And they do bring me some comfort, though I have to admit I'm sure a dog would way more. I think it's just more in their nature or something. Either way, it's a good thing and I'm happy you've got one! <3

Unfortunately they're not actually doing anything wrong. It falls under freedom of speech. Unless they were actively doing something, like forming a lynch mob, there's nothing to be done about them. I try to ignore them. They're such a small minority anyway that it's just easier to pretend they don't even exist.

Dogs are man's best friend so I'm there's some truth to that. But I've met many a happy cat owner who gain a lot of comfort from them so I'm sure your new little adoptees are doing the best they can. ;)
