It was pretty terrible, but there's a chance I over-reacted to it because it looked and felt so bad. The main thing, I guess, is that the dog survived too and he could even run once the driver backed off.

Thank God for my kid sister, it's amazing how the people that you actually do love can make everything a bit better, even the Passover vacation from Hell. :)

I was checking him out today and all signs seem to be positive! :D You have no idea how relieved I am. And yay for us having twin pets... sort of. XD I have a black cat and a white rabbit named Sheleg, so really, yours is like a combo of the two of them. ;)

Oh, hon, I'm so sorry about your grandmother. :( *cuddles* And what you said, that's exactly it. It's the personal sadness over the people I've lost, mixed with the thoughts about what's lost of their stories when they're gone, only with an added sense of responsibility and, I guess, a certain feeling of anxiety. I hope we don't fail in passing on these stories to the next generation. I hope I don't fail. My family barely spoke about it until a later stage in life and then, the stories aren't quite as coherent as they once would have been
