The Character
Basics
Canon or Original: Original
Full Name: Oakley Lane Pilger
Age: 16
Birthdate: April 12, 1993
Gender: Female

General Appearance
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 118 lbs
Hair Color: Natural? She doesn't even remember, but she keeps it dyed a signature bright red.
Eye Color: Green
Played By: Hayley Williams
Appearance: Oakley has your standard rocker look, to the best of her ability, at least. She keeps her hair dyed a bright red, with the occasional blonde highlights to top it off. She's proud of it, even though her parents absolutely hate it. She is most comfortable in a pair of skinny jeans and a t-shirt, though she's known to step it up a bit when she must. Sweatpants are a must for her at home life, though, where she tends to be a complete bum with her look. Her hair is always straightened or pulled back, depending on the time she has that day, and she doesn't wear much makeup, not that she needs it. Oakley's trademark item, however, is chucks. She owns a pair in practically every color and wears them with every outfit, unless informed that it's not allowed.

Personality
Interests&Hobbies: Music (Drums and Singing) and her band, Church, Volunteering at a crisis hotline for troubled youth, Sharing her faith, Playing at the park with her little siblings.
Best 5 words to describe: Christian, Strong, Loyal, Childlike, Innocent
General personality: Oakley was raised by her parents to be a kind, gentle girl, but she's always found her own edge. She's loud and obnoxious, usually, but in the best of ways. She does her best not to judge anyone, but always wants to share her faith to the very best of her ability. Oakley is bubbly, rarely getting nervous around people or afraid to bring up a touchy topic. If someone's going to push the envelope, it's bound to be her, but, for the most part, she tries to live with wide eyed innocence. Oakley's favorite concept is living with the faith like a child and she strives to be as Christ-like as possible. She's not afraid of getting dirty, but has a girly side, too. This chick is a hopeless romantic at heart. She loves to make new friends, but once you cross her, you're done for good.

In general, Oakley tends to be bubbly. She uses the phrase just saying more than she should and has a desire to talk to everyone. Having enemies makes her uncomfortable. You can coexist without paying any mind to each other, but the word hate isn't in her vocabulary. Unless you want her to wear pink or eat vegetables. She doesn't care what others think, for the most part, but does do her best to stick to the social norms that have been developed over time.

Family&History
Parents: Mark and Jodene Pilger
Siblings: Brysen, 14. Chelsi, 11. Huck, 6.
History: Oakley was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and has spent her entire life in private school. The oldest of four, she was the protector and had a lot of friends. Despite her outspoken attitude, she was bubbly and fun to be with. A cheerleader, musician - yes, she played drums in the marching band - and faithful Christian, Oakley had the perfect life. At least, she thought she did. Occasionally she'd give her parents a heart attack with a new hair color (though she'd finally settled on a bright red) or coming home with a tattoo they hadn't seen before, but over all, they were the perfect, supportive family.

Oakley had never dreamed of going to public school, but her parents made the announcement that they were pulling the kids during Christmas break of her junior year. Her dad lost his job as a pastor at their small, conservative church and they couldn't afford to keep their four kids enrolled, not to mention that her mother was expecting the family's fifth child. Furthermore, her dad never admitted why he was no longer employed with Grace Lutheran church. And, while she didn't ask, the young red head had her own theories. None of which were good. Thus, Oakley started her tenure at East High in Albuquerque. She wasn't overly excited, but figured she'd make the best of it. She still had church youth group and the band she'd formed when she was 13. They'd evolved into something decent, and she was pretty proud. Besides, if God was going to send her away, he must have had a plan for her, right? She would share his word and always make the best of it.
