Funny, there's been like 4 posts in a row on my LJ re that disappointing earthquake!

That's what got me started :)

He's actually a British Shorthair. Same blue colour, but a much less angular cat. The kind of cat that should be wearing a bowler hat and carrying a copy of The Times.

Unless I talk extensively about how I always seem to sleep through, be on a rollercoaster during, or otherwise entirely fail to notice earthquakes. Maybe my sea legs are so good that I just assume we're afloat for a short time.
