spencers last shows
in case you didnt know spencer is breaking up. we are doing two last shows.
ue to many reasons, we have decided to call it quits as spencer. our last shows will be with our friends autumn poetry. the dates are listed below. these shows will be the last chance to get our merch, which will be selling on a sliding scale basis (read: cheap). we would like to thank everyone who has made it possible for us to be a band for the past four years. to all our friends, families, fans, and bands we played with over the years, we really appreciate your support more than you know. after these shows, jd and adam will continue to play in their new band polar state, who you can keep track of at polarstate.net. rey will be finishing up getting his degree at ucsb. alex will be launching a new record label/arts collective that you can check out at keatoncollective.com. in addition he is in the process of forming a new band. if you are interested please get in touch with him at alex@spencerrock.com. any other noteworthy news in the future will be posted here. thanks for everything and please keep in touch.
update #2: it has come to our attention that the whole thing with these shows has confused a few people. heres the deal: we are confirmed to play our very last show aug 25 in isla vista. we will have the address of that up here soon. in addition, things are lookin good for us to play the wednesday show on august 24 at harmony sweet, as well. you should plan on coming to that show and we will post a last minute notice if we cant make it due to family stuff going on. so there are two chances to see us play, most likely. still the other shows are going to be good here are the lineups for all the four shows...
