i've been debating on seeing ultra violet or not. i loved what kurt wimmer did with equilibrium. but find milla jovovich very icky. the only thing i've ever liked her in is. the fifth element and resident evil: apocalypse. i didn't even like the first resident evil movie.
sucks that fox canceled arrested development though. hopefully fx or adult swim will pick it up.
Can Adult Swim pick up a non cartoon show? That would be a strange step forward, and isn't FX just a little fox? Just because they pick it up doesn't mean I get new episodes does it?
I liked Equilibrium and had a lot of high hopes for this, but this movie really isn't Equilibrium at all, there is nothing admirable about this film, it's literally like some freshman in High School wrote a creative story about Vampires and the Future, watch for the simple fact that it's the funniest thing you'll ever see, and you just be in shock and awe that it actually made it to the big screen.
FX is basically a small independant type fox(i.e. a vertigo or lions gate), they show more touchy subject material as well as fox movies of the week.
there was rumors back in december when arrested development got the axe, that adult swim would pick it up, similar to what happened to family guy, just running some reruns and see where that goes or just to completely pick up where the series left off. it's adult swim, they can do whatever the fuck they want.
