Curious-- favorite songs? :)

Hey guys! I've been listening to Matenrou Opera a lot lately (like usual LOL) & just thought about asking what other fans' fave songs are?

I've been listening to them for at least 3 years now, & i've always really loved "Hiai to Melancholy" and Dolce. I think they're my 2 faves-- but I really like all of their stuff. xD What about you guys? :))

I sort of fell out of jrock in general, haven't listened to Matenrou Opera in a loooong time. But my faves were Dolce, Kaze no Tori and Tenjou he no Kakesashi wo

Yah same, basically. I still love listening to my bands, but-- I'm only really aware of new releases up until early 2010. I think being in college, as well as the disbandments of some of my favorite bands has really attacked my Visual Kei fandom. :/

Yeah, I started falling out of it a bit after going into college too - and after I started working.
The only band I still follow closely (aka "I know the next release date") is SID. I just don't have that much free time to follow 4858745 bands, and some bands I like disbanded, a vocalist died and the new bands just don't appeal to me.
I remember the time when I would listen to everything visual-kei and get excited over every band, but now I look at new artists and I just rme and think "well, 4 months until these guys disband".
I mainly used livejournal to get updates from the bands I still wanted to follow, but it seems like people hardly use it nowadays.

Yah same. I mean, I've been living to see some bands live in concert-- to then see them disband, it is so heart-breaking. :( And like, how I am with bands-- it's like-- I want to have this personal connection with them, but it takes a lot of effort etc to follow bands and buy their cds etc, at least that's my personal experiences. I am the exact same as you.

ALSO Don't apologize, AT ALL!!! :) I am so glad people wanna talk about their interest in Visual Kei!! Actually, I'm trying to do research about Visual Kei fans for this undergrad thesis at my university LOL. I'm working on a survey/ want to just talk to people (like an interview I suppose) right now-- but I still need to get official approval before I can start sending it out. ahaha :P I'm falling behind with it, but I really hope to get as many people as possible to get involved. :3

Ahhh I've been a fan since Gilia so that makes it... almost four years. woah o_o
My favorite songs are Ruri Iro De Egaku Niji, Kokuu Kara No Tegami, Anomie, Genesis, Frill and of course Honey Drop. Ugh cannot chose... I would say Ruri and Kokuu in general because of emotional connection to these songs. ~
