Dublith was a popular but tasteful tourist spot; there were shops with many items of interest, each of them catering to the locals needs as much as visitors', avoiding a tourist trap's usual strips of identical cheap souvenir shops. Had Klavier been in his normal body, he might have been more inclined to abandon Greed and wander off into the city to satisfy whatever interest he might have had in the town where his host operated. At the moment he was content to follow the Homunculus, who was trapped inside of Shelly de Killer…something else that was clearly bizarre, with his eyes averted and feeling abnormally self-conscious for Klavier Gavin ( ... )

Comforting: Greed was about as good at it as he was at speaking German or making intricate Greek salads. He noticed the uncharacteristic downward stare, the lack of confidence radiating from his every motion. Even if it was Envy's body rather than Klavier's, it was easy enough to tell something was off. That said, some kind of passing physical gesture like a pat on the head didn't come naturally. That was Envy's body. That kind of gesture was useless if it was anything less than natural. So instead he gave a long, silent stare, hands stuffed in his pockets ( ... )

Nodding, Klavier followed Greed up the stairs finally raising his head. Now that they were in Greed’s home he felt a little less self-conscious, especially since they were in the same boat, except the Homunculous was a little more optimistic about his boat. Of course that didn’t put the prosecutor entirely at ease; he knew there was plenty of bad blood between Greed and Envy. It must have been awkward enough for the other man, only intensifying the strange atmosphere. Fortunately Klavier wasn’t expecting too much out of this, Greed providing him a safe place with basic necessities was a comfort all on its own ( ... )

An outpouring of gratitude from Klavier was weird. From Envy, it was horrific. Knowing it was the former while seeing the later tempered it somewhat, but he still ended up giving another long stare ( ... )
