I just bought my tickets to dragoncon.

Membership goes up on Friday 02/13/2009!

SO if you are going - Get them now!

PS. I might turn mine into an eternal membership later this year.

I worked the first year I went to Dragoncon and didn't really see much of the rest of the con. Last year I didn't, because I wanted to hang out with Todd McCaffrey and meet his mom, my favorite author. I don't mind working a slot or so, but I don't want to be tied to it since it is expensive just going (we stayed at the Sheraton last year, it was nice, as I got to go down to BritTrack anytime of the night).
David volunteered again last year, but he was miserable half the con from it since his supervisor person was a real *itch. So I'm making him get the membership this year. Since we will be moving sometime, we are thinking of making Dragoncon a reunion place to meet up with friends at some times.

We have always been judges for the gaming. He was working with rpga, and I had worked with Blackmoor back when I knew the guy running the campaign.

I usually pick a few different things to do. But I always do three things (hang out with Todd, tease Kevin, and eat at the pacific rim at least once). Last time I had fun with the Stargate crowd and Cliff Simon. I really don't like the big events too much like Dawn Contest or Masquerade, but I love the Brit crowd, Pern, and Sg1.

And I also went to the ConSluts party, it was too crowded though, and I got to know a little too much about Aaron Douglas after getting pushed up against him for a while (I didn't know till hours later that he was even an actor, as I never watch BSG - thats also probably why he laughed when I asked his name in return and had no recognition)

Last year, some friends of mine and I started a savenger hunt, and I think that will get better with new ideas for the list or new ways of finishing it.

What tracks or things do you usually go to?
