John and I decided to check out the first ep of American Horror Story this week and we are both left feeling rather hot/cold on the show. Conceptually, I like it. The first ep shows us a lot of things I'm compelled to want to find out more about

I forgot about that show. I wanted to see it everytime I saw the preview but then promptly forgot it existed. Maybe I can catch it on demand.

I wouldn't go sprinting to find it. It's ok. Aside from all the things that angered me, I like ghost stories.

So worth a watch, then? The art style in the commercials looked kind of cool. I like shows with strong imagery.

It's shot really well for the most part. Some of the quick cut editing is a little annoying but that's just the popular style now I suppose. Lots of cliches, but hey, it's a haunted house story and ain't I always a sucker for those?

It's not terrible, but it def could be better. I'm always happy when there are horror tv shows and hope for the best.
