-In season one, they used to ask for four seats on planes, and now they always ask for two. It amuses me to think that they must be having interesting discussions with the ticketing agents explaining that they need four seats, but they're going to ask for two so that it can be put on TV and we can all pretend they don't have a crew with them

Yeah, I almost went to Cuzco last year with David, but I ran out of money -- and then had to cancel on you, so sad.
As I said, I totally agree that the alfalfa was the better choice. I suprised more teams didn't do it -- though I understand Meredith and Gretchen choosing the llamas.
It's not suprising that he said "will be eliminated", as, as you say, everyone knows the first leg is elimination.
On an unrelated note, did you see Poulter Cow is connected to my LJ?
I wonder if they would ever consider making the first leg a NEL. Now that would be shocking. In a way, it would make some sense, since the first elimination always seems pretty arbitrary to me, since people haven't settled into their racing groove.
Yeah, I noticed Polter-Cow. I had forgotten that you met him until I saw that he was connected to your LJ.
