nice to meet you! yup, i certainly am a beginning knitter. i just learned last night at this knitting circle. so far, well, i got the most basic aspects down, but that's about all. the little square chunk i knitted is definitely not aesthetically pleasing - oh well. how goes your knitting?

i am working on a ribbed scarf for my mom. it is all i've been doing because there is no way i'll be done by this sunday otherwise. i figure it is a cheap and easy way to make my mother happy for once.

next up is a tank top, which will be my first adventure into knitting something other than what is essentially a big knit rectangle. ;)
