Well I survived the weekend.  Got back to Birmingham on Friday as scheduled at 10am.  Drove to Southside and picked up my aunt and headed to the house.  I was in the house a grand total of about 20 minutes just long enough to pull out some stuff I didn't need and throw in my dress clothes in my bag and head for the car.  We left here and

Hey... glad you made it back safe. Thanks to you and Ma Barker for helping me with the wireless, which I'm now using. You're going to love what was wrong with it. It's a real winner.

Minor note: I resent the "redneck experience" with riding around the property in a pickup. On property is a) the only, need I repeat only, place where we'll do it, and Mums is certainly not redneck and b) if you're going to do this, by far the easiest method and c) you usually don't want to use a car for those excursions anyway.

I'm glad you're back safe and sound. Again I'm sorry about the death and all the ones that have come before. It's been a tough year for you thus far, but I will do my part to make the rest of it much better (I hope). :) See you when you head this way!
