I'm in Pueblo, CO. I was last night, too. I couldn't see any "official" fireworks display, but everybody had bottle rockets (or is it Roman candles?). From my hotel, I could walk around the upper walkway and look out in any of the 360 available degrees and see little explosions everywhere. I kept thinking about how convenient it is to be able to hear and see explosions all around me and not fear for my life.

Then it started pouring torrential rain with high winds. Apparently it was a mini-monsoon. What?
