you make that dip sound pretty, i'll bet you could handle a tattoo! Its not extremly painful pain, its more like an annoying pain, like someone scratching at you over and over... I know that sounds kind of god awful, but really its not so bad (if it was so many people wouldnt have tattoos!) happy birthday (early im assuming)
Hm, that type of pain doesn't sound too bad. I can handle annoying repetitive pain but I've heard all these stories of feeling dizzy & going into crazy worlds of pain. But I don't want a large tattoo. Nor color.
Well I know sometimes people pass out, but usually that is because they don't eat beforehand. I think my husband has only had ten people pass out in the three and a half years he has been tattooing, and when he asks the person when they last ate they alwasy say something weird like "I havent eaten today", or that it has been like 6 hours. So just remember to eat before you go :) Also the placement of the tattoo makes a difference too, like if your gettign your rib cage tattooed thats going to feel not as nice as say getting your leg tattooed. But personally I have never felt a huge difference in terms of placement. The tattoo that hurt the most for me was the one on my chest, but I think its because it took 3 hours and felt so sore afterwards from being rubbed etc. And if you are just getting an outline, you'll do great! Do you know where you'd like to get it?
i love this illustration! though i love color lately i've been thinking how clean and pure black and white is. everything i'm buying for my new apartment is either: black, white, or birch veneer. its sort of on my mind.. which is why the letter i sent you was oddly uncolorful.

Hm, I am not sure. Forever I have wanted 3 things: Either Ramona Quimby (old school Ramona), the Maurice Sendak illustration from the Little Bear books where little bear has a cardboard box on his head and is flying through the sky or a Beatrix Potter illustration.
