You might want to post something like that (ALL of it, not just the lights) on your door if you have not already. I am quite sure that clumsy_me must have told you some of her horror stories. Some agents are just plain assholes.
Do NOT withhold your rent -- you have no legal right to do this, you could be served with an eviction notice if you do this. The appropriate course of action is to go through the Landlord/Tenant Board.
Also, that is totally lame that they are not respecting your home -- there's not much you can do about this, unfortunately, people are total idiots. We had a lot of the same problems with our home; when your home is being viewed, the selling agent is most likely not present -- so there isn't anyone there ensuring that your interests are represented. I would suggest, despite this, contacting the selling agent through your landlord and ask that they politely remind buying agents that they and their clients should remove their shoes, turn off all lights, etc as a common courtesy. A politely worded sign asking for a few basic things like the removal of shoes (especially with this shitty weather!!) and turning off of lights is totally reasonable as well.
