I totally read that too, yesterday.

However, judging by all the voter registration bullshit that Greg Palast has documented, government workers can't handle "American" names, either.

Hell, I get people on the phone (and mail, and email) who can't fucking spell "Murphy," and that's about as common and easy as "Johnson."
