Ethan has been toilet trained in the day for quite some time. As mummy here is too chicken to let him go diaperless, he still wears the cloth diaper during his day nap and disposable diaper during the night. He manages to keep his daily cloth diaper dry ( Read more... )

Get Tim and Royce to talk to Ethan about going diaperless! The day I finally broke through with Royce was because Tim had a good talk with him "Royce, if you want to go to the toilet at night, you have to wake mummy up and not pee on the bed!" Since then, Royce has been accident free *fingers crossed*

I've been telling him that for the afternoon naps. For night, he did it on his own.

Same situation for Nicole, she has been diaperless in the day for months now except when she's taking her nap and at night...mommy here still dare not take the first step to go diaperless in the night for her!

I think Ethan likes to do things in his own timing. No point rushing him.

Congrats Ethan...Zec has been toilet-trained during the day long ago... but I still have not trained him for night yet coz his diaper is still wet in the morning. Xander still wakes up to pee 2-3 times every night and sometimes still wets the bed. :(

I never really made any effort to toilet train Ethan for the night cos' I'm always too tired to wake up. I think now he hates wet diapers.

Maybe by showing him that you trust and believe that he can do it it might just give in the incentive to go dry.

Ryan has been diaperless since 2 yrs but we still get accidents once in a blue moon.

sorry I meant that "Since everyone is showing that they believe in him, it might be incentive enough for him to stay dry." Don't know how my brain progressing is going wrong recently.

I didn't really show that. Just praised him when he woke up with a dry diaper for the first time. Perhaps that was incentive to him.
