He has allergy type of hives appearing on him. After sometime, these hives would look like blue-black mark.

Uh, 425 is Fehrenheit. 250 is Celsius. So you should set about 220 celsius.

Is the bread nice? Maybe I should try and see what went wrong for you.

is it? I feel so stupid now...

The flour is not cheap. It's $9.60 per pack.

yes was going to comment that it's Fehrenheit. Even my oven doesn't go to 450 celsius. Maybe liquid was added too late so the dough didn't rise.

Are the hives like big mossie bites, then turn red ?

haha...think this stupidity comes from someone like me who's inexperienced in baking.

Yeah...the hives is like mossie bites. The flesh tend to be harder as compared to mossie bites. Also, for mossie bites, when they go off, they don't leave a mark like the hives.

The bun looks good. Hahahah.. I was going to comment on the Farenheit/Celcius thingy as well. Adding water will make the bread softer. For the bread to rise, you need baking powder/yeast. Fyi, Bak kwa has lots of chemicals in it. You might not want to overload Ethan's system if you are planning to detox him again.:)

Wow, $9.60 per pack? You can buy a loaf of GFCF bread!

There's yeast in it but the recipe stated that we just dump everything in and mix. Maybe I must do like what you did first. The Bak Kwa was just a by-the-way kind of thing. I added very very little to a few of them.

If there's yeast in it, then try adding warm water and let the dough rise first(place it somewhere warm betw 20-30 mins..eg. near te oven) before you start baking.

Did you steam the bread before serving?
