I was trying to get Ethan to talk more....in preparation for his oral examination. I didn't do the structured thingy with him. We just had some informal conversation about his favourite stuff so that these will be at the top of his mind if they are being asked. So here's the current list:

I don't really know how to prepare Dominic for Oral test. I am quite sure he will have no problem talking. But I wish I have a better feel of where the goalpost is.

The school teacher didn't give you a breakdown of what is to be tested?

Picture Discussion (5m)
Conversation (5m)

Ethan generally has problem with the Picture Discussion and Conversation... something that goes way back to his speech issues.

The teacher did give us a breakdown. But I am not sure what exactly they are looking for. I understand that there are some 'taboos' too.

Popular have books for Oral. Its helpful coz the students are required to have some opinions of the pictures to score points. Talking in clockwise or anti-clockwise, etc...

I know... but Ethan is not even at that stage yet. We did a trial with him and he had all the people seated nearby laughing out loud. His sentence structure is so bad.

Lena, Xander was no better. He could not even string a proper sentence. I just read through it with him a few rounds most of the pages and make the sentence short and simple. I am thankful that he has a good memory. So, he actually memorise some of those sentences. Better than nothing right?
