Why should it be *bad* if you use profanity? Or even *not good*? You'd be extremely hard pressed to make a case, Biblically or theologically, that makes someone a better or worse person because they've used the word fuck in their lives. Next time your dad lectures you, ask him if he knows the etymology of the word fuck, or even the word shit. Once he explains to you that he doesn't know what etymology is just say, "exactly. you should go back to college before you start making such accusations." That's what I'd say anyway? :-D
Just for fun, you should wikipedia "Cuss words" and look into the etymological differences between "cussing" "swearing" and "cursing." They all mean different things, and yet no one takes the time to research the subject before having a really really strong stance one way or the other, COMPLETELY based on their own ignorance.
P.S. let's be friends again? Sounds like we go through alot of the same things now a days; Fish, cussing, it's all good :-D
