So last night I saw Grand Funk Railroad in St. Louis with my dad. They came to our town, and yes, they helped party it down. They don't lie. Grand Funk isn't a band I have any prior experience with really short of hearing American Band and the awful Locomotion. I went with dad because I don't spend a lot of time with him so this was a prime

Glad the show was good; sorry the belly was rebelling. I know what you mean about seeing people are parents age rocking out. When Justin and I saw REO Speedwagon, Styx and Journey, and then drove to Potosi,Missouri--the asscrack of civilization, I might add--and saw JD Blackfoot, Badfinger, The Yardbirds, Vanilla Fudge and Mountain(!) we were the youngest people other than the dirty biker children and though we rocked, the older people out-rocked us by a landslide.

I'm glad you enjoyed the family time and spent time with your Dad. I had family night that evening as well with my parents at an outdoor concert. I'm sure yours was much better. I went for family time though as well.
