A month ago, I was optimistic about getting into a good college, finding out what I want to do, etc. A month ago I did not get grounded every other weekend, and my parents were more than happy to take

lauren! i love you! i know it's hard...believe me, i feel pretty crappy right now too (although that may have something to do with the fever and dillusions i'm experiencing...but still). sometimes life just sucks. seriously...it really does. but good times will come, i promise. you may not think so now, but they will come, and you will be happy again. life is not all badness...although you may think so now. and you have friends who love you and will take care of you through all the hard times. and when you feel bad, talk to us, call us, do whatever you need. no one will mind giving you a shoulder to cry on...we all need it sometimes. so hang in there bud! before you know it, this year will be over and you'll be free! no more junior year! forever! and just one year after that you will graduate, and the best/worst years of our lives will be over! so please, don't get too depressed. life has its ups and downs. junior year just happens to be a very big down...hehe. but this, too, shall pass (as bennet's grandfather would say). so hang in
