The puppy has landed! And she is abso-freaking-lutely adorable :D. She really is too cute. This is of course a good thing, because it allows us to forgive her for the messes and biting, of which there are a lot. Seriously, she is like a mouth with legs. Everything must be chewed on, rocks, the carpet, your leg :). Once she gets in the mood to chew

Puppy! You must of course post a picture as soon as possible.

Do not worry about cat and dog. Probably the best thing is to keep them separate and let them get used to the scent of each other before sight--just for a few days. Eventually Tacoon will get used to her. She may never like her but she will get used to her.

Have no suggestions for fabulous puppy names, but will think about it. :)

I think you are right. We've been trying to keep the cat in one part of the house and the puppy in another, separated by a door, so they can smell each other, but not see. Then this weekend we will allow them to see each other again. Hopefully we can reach a state of polite indifference.

At least the dislike is one sided. The puppy barely acknowledges the cat :).

LOL. Chewy describes her perfectly! Once she gets in the mood she chews on everything, and anyone in her way. Last night she was trying to eat rocks :).

Brick? Don't mind me, I'm feeling quite nonsensical today.

LOL. You obviously are in the same mood we were when we started thinking of all the names we wouldn't want to yell out the front door every morning ;). Although, Brick, is way better than any of those :D.
