Fred Perry looks too much like a purse, especially with the shiny material. I agree, the Locoste logo is too big, makes me want to remove it. I like the simple appeal and cheap price of the French Connection bag, but it would help to get some measurements and a look at the inside.

Yeah, I haven't had any luck finding dimensions yet. Too bad too, I like that felted look the FC bag has, but if it's too small then it makes no sense to get it as I'd be in the same situation I'm in now.

I got an eagle creek messenger back at REI about a year ago, and I absolutely love it. It's just baarely big enough to fit A-4 sized notebooks and folders (which is all they use over here in Japan), and it has just the right number of little pouches

Timbuk2 is cool and all, and they're definitely quality made, but I dunno, they just don't wow me :)

Though their artist series bags are awesome. I think I remember them being pretty pricey though.
