roflmfao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You get charged for everything here, it's anywhere from 5¢ to 15¢ for SMS and like 25¢ for MMS. And you get charged for incoming and out going calls. Also with T-Mobile you get charged for checking your Voice Mail. Oh and with a post-pay phone it's between 35¢ and 40¢ per minute if you go over your included minutes... also, you only get free nights (after 9pm, not 7 like some other carriers) if you sign at least a 1 year contract.
Oh and since I'm mentioning SMS, you might want to know that it's 35¢ for international SMS (or the equivalent number of minutes for that price with pre-paid phones).
Also, you need to watch out because you aren't using T-Mobile's network in Eureka... you are roaming on EDGE Wireless's network. So if they report you minutes late you could get billed up to 60 days later for usage.

just remember that T-Mobile USA is just the American arm of T-Mobile Germany, whose parent company is Deutsche Telekom. It's really a European company... so don't go all "every where else is better" on us, they could have done it the same here as there if they wanted but didn't. It's not America's fault.
well the problem is you got a prepay phone. The catch with those is, you pay for ever min you are using the phone, receiving or giving. But it does work that way with most other phones that you pay monthly, cell or land line, unless said otherwise. I had a prepay myself, and hated getting wrong calls since just answering the darn thing cost me a good chunk of sum just to say "sorry, I don't know him" which was often, since the person who had the phone number before me seem to knew a lot of people.
