The Beatles tribute band (Beatlemania: The Tribute) my brother and I saw on Saturday was really good. We were easily the youngest adults there (there were four or five 10 year olds-clearly grandkids of other attendees- who had a great time through the first set and then pulled out their DSes for the remainder of the evening), though I think that

I'm doing a cover album of Rubber Soul (not to sell or for any reason, just cause it's fun--just guitar and vocal, no overdubs), but I'm skipping Michelle. I can't make sense of the weird chords and changes. :P On other songs, I've been able to make my "own" versions that I have fun with. But not Michelle.

Maybe the tribute band couldn't figure the dang thing out either!

That sounds awesome. The more I listen to Rubber Soul, the more I love it. I'm especially partial to "The Word" myself. :)

Hahah, perhaps that is the problem! I used to hate the song growing up since I would hear it so damn much (the immediate assumption for Michelles born in the early 80s is that they were named after The Beatles' song, but that's not the case for me) but I've grown to enjoy it over the years.
