Ruh roh.

You know Apple is having a press event next week (Sept 1st) where they will unveil new iPod/iPod touch models, right? The rumor is that the 8GB iPod Touch will be lowered to $99 (or $149), as well as all the other current sizes lowering prices so that a new 128GB model can be introduced @ 399 (with rear & front facing camera like the iPhone 4 for video chat, as well as more ram/cpu/battery/etc).

Winds up a friend of my brother-in-law had a new 8GB he wanted to sell for $150 so he could put that money toward a bigger one, so I bought that. Spent a good portion of last night re-syncing iTunes and re-acquiring apps. Like I wrote earlier, I don't think I need more than 8Gb, so it didn't work out too badly. I just need to get a new case and headphones now. The only case I have is the Prince of Persia one from Pax and that's meant for the iPhone so it doesn't look quite right and the only headphones I have are the earbuds which I hate.

But no, I didn't know that. :/

wow, ironically enough alana sparrow was asking about ipods yesterday, then remembered you were the one with the tough and not me. creepy! is i ever have extra money i want to get one, but for now, bills ho!
