Very good advice! I keep my patterns paper clipped together in a folder but a zip lock bag sounds like a good idea.

I do hope that they follow some of it instead of blow it off completely because it wasn't the answer they were looking for.

I draft my patterns on posterboard, punch a hole in the top, and hang 'em on sticky hooks in my work room! Saving patterns is a HUGE time saver!

Very good advice. I agree that making premades is the right way to start. Why start offering commissions on items you don't know how to make? The nice thing about the fandom is the ability to make something for practice, and sell it if it comes out good on any of the several reliable auction sites. Also for the timing/pricing part: a million times yes. It takes a good deal of experience to realize how much your time, effort and talent is worth.

Fantastic advice and if it didn't help the person asking for it, it certainly helps me if I ever decide to be not lazy and make stuff. :-) Thank you!
