Death of and author

The author of the Wheel of Time series has died. Robert Jordan has passed away from a rare blood disease. Now I have even less reason to read his series because now it will never be finished.

That may not be true. He left detailed notes with his publisher and wife with permission to get someone else to finish it the way he'd want to should he pass away.

Now, it just falls to that pair whether or not they find someone to finish it up. My guess is that they do...and there was only one book left, so it seems highly likely.
