1) After three good, long years of diligent service my I-Pod has finally died. I turned it off yesterday at work and it has never come back on. I push the buttons but nothing happens. I've had it plugged in and "charging" for over 24 hours. No dice

oh wow, that place looks HUGE compared to the house I just bought. congrats!

on the mp3 player thing, i really like my Creative Zen. i haven't used it nearly as much as i'd like to but it certainly serves me well when i do. :)

1) I have a Creative Zen VPlus (2 GB) and I like it, but I must say that the navigation joystick is not quite as nice as the iPod. Still, I'm not sure the iPod price is worth it (especially since the Creative is much more flexible with formats).

2) Congrats on the house! It looks very nice (and much less the fixer-upper that ours is). It still amazes me the difference in house prices from one area to another...

Amen on that one. It was really interesting to see even the huge changes between a few streets. The housing market is so weird...

Congrats on the house-get. I can now pay you back for moving Em and me. In spades. At least your old and new places aren't hours away from each other like mine have been... the past two times.

I'm not even going to comment on the whole iPod thing, you know where my loyalties lie, and what I'd suggest.
