not that i'm complaining, but i have a simple question. why do you two converse through livejournal when you live together?

Well....we work almost completely opposite shifts, so it's just kind of one more way for us to communicate when the other is asleep or at work.
We email each other too...it's kinda like an electronic way of sneaking a little note into someone's purse, or wallet.

Anyway, you know we met online, so we really started talking this way in the first place. Even after we'd been together for like a month, I remember before she moved in, she would go to her apartment on her breaks from work and we'd talk through instant messages instead of calling each other. It was a really strange transition for us to adjust to talking on the phone after like a year and a half of communicating through typing.
