Summary: Two pasts, two painful stories. They are the same but yet so different. Nino, a big arrogant idol and Ohno, a kind and shy amazing dancer. They live their lives but when Ohno meets the younger, the sleepy man will discover Nino’s dark past that the idol wanted to forget. One day Nino gets stuck in Ohno’s mind and he discovers that maybe the dancer is the only person who can really understand his pain. Maybe Ohno’s eternal sleepy smile hides a dark secret too.
Chapter 4: His past
Ohno froze. Here, on the grass, were Nino and his lover, Yusuke. It couldn't be possible, Yusuke was dead and Nino was in his head! The two lovebirds were laughing, Nino in the arms of his lover. Ohno had never seen such smile on Nino's face. The idol seemed very happy, joy shining all around him. There was also a tent and some bags. They were certainly camping. Ohno sat and looked at them, curious. During two hours, they spoke, looking at the sky and teasing each other. Suddenly, a man appeared at their place. He wore dark clothes, had a bag in one hand and held a big dog in a leash. When Nino saw him, he moved away from Yusuke to take their clothes.
"Sumimasen, sir, we believed we were alone." Nino bowed.
"It's okay, young man." The man smiled, sat and took his stuff.
"I'm going to swim, are you joining me?" Nino asked to Yusuke who nodded, hesitantly.
Nino dived in the water, happily enjoying its freshness.
"Nino, be careful!" Yusuke warned the younger man who started to swim. When his lover wanted to join him, he saw the new man stare at his Nino with a strange look.
"Kazu, baby, come on, the dinner is ready!" Yusuke called out. He felt very uncomfortable; the man looked too much at Nino.
The gamer left the water, the moon shining on his thin white body. He took a towel and kissed his lover deeply. "I love you." He said.
"Love you too, baby. Come on I bet you're hungry." Yusuke smiled, holding out a plate.
"I would like to eat you, not this curry." Nino teased.
"We can't, we're not alone." Yusuke whispered, worried by the strange man. Both ate and entered in the tent to sleep. Ohno saw the man still looking at them. He lied on the grass and closed his eyes. Suddenly, a noise woke him up. He raised his head and saw Yusuke who left the tent. The young man, seemed to want to pee but when he came back, Ohno cried out from what went on before his eyes. The man hit Yusuke on the head and tied him. Ohno couldn't make a movement, too chocked by the scene.
"Yusuke, where are you?" Nino's sleepy voice called.
"Don't leave the tent, Nino, please!" Ohno whispered but he saw the gamer getting out.
"Yu? Where are you? It's not funny!" Nino said, fear invading his whole body.
Ohno ran towards him, he couldn't let the man hit Nino.
"Nino, run away!" Ohno shouted, catching Nino's arm but his fingers crossed the arm and the younger didn't seem to see nor hear him. Suddenly, Ohno saw the man behind the young man.
"NINOOOOO!!!!" Ohno screamed but nobody heard him and the man hit his victim. He took him in his arms and walked towards a tree. There was Yusuke, tied up. Nino slowly opened his eyes, painfully.
"Oh, you're awake!" A voice exclaimed.
"What?! Who are you? And why am I tied up? Where is Yusuke, bastard!!!" Nino snapped.
"Oh oh, calm down my honey!" The man smirked.
"Kazu, are you all right?"
"Yu!" Nino cried, seeing his boyfriend tied up next to him.
"It's okay baby, don't worry." Yu said with a weak smile.
"You two are very touching, but now, the serious game starts." The man laughed.
"What do you want, fucking bastard?!" Nino yelled.
"You, my dear. When I saw you singing today, I knew you'll be mine! You're so beautiful, Kazunari, you're voice is so amazing, you can't imagine how many times I dreamed about you and me, making love. You, crying my name while I took your cute butt!"
"You're insane, bastard! I would never sleep with you, you are crazy and ugly!" Nino shouted, the smile of the man disappeared and he hit Nino on the face.
"Kazu!!!" Yusuke called out.
"Be careful, young man, my patience is on the line!" The man said, coldly.
There was a loud noise and the curtains of rain began to fall.
"Oh, it's raining, maybe I have a coat for you in my car, my angel, I don't want you to catch a cold. Wait for me." The man said, kissing Nino's cheek.
When the man left, Yusuke crawled toward his lover. He lied against his back and Nino blinked.
"Yu, what are you doing?!"
"I was sure he wasn't normal, he looked at you very strangely when you were swimming that's why I hide a knife." Yusuke explained while he tried to cut the rope around Nino. "Yes!!!" He added when he succeeded.
Nino turned toward him and quickly cut his rope too. They jumped on their feet when they heard the man returned and ran away.
"What?! NINO!!!!!" The man yelled when he saw they had disappeared. "Catch them!" He said to his dog.
"Run, Kazu, faster!" Yusuke encouraged when they heard the dog.
Ohno followed them, afraid. The dog ran after the lovers who tried desperately to escape from their attacker. Suddenly, Yusuke fell and when Nino wanted to help him, he yelled at him.
"Run away, Kazu!"
"Never, not without you!" Nino said, trying to hold his boyfriend.
"I can't walk, find someone who could help us, I'll wait for you here!" Yusuke said, pushing his lover away.
"Are you crazy?! You come with me!"
"KAZUNARI!!!! Shut up! Run, save your life, this man want you not me! Now, run, it's an order!!!" Yusuke yelled, pushing him away again.
Nino looked at him and nodded. He hid his lover behind a tree and ran. The rain hit his face, the branches of the trees left red marks on his face and neck but he didn't care, their lives were on the line!
"NINO!!!" The angry voice yelled.
"Shit, faster, faster!" Nino exclaimed. Suddenly, his foot hit a stone and he fell. When he tried to stand up, a hand caught his arm and all became dark. When he opened his eyes, he was lying on the ground, a form next to him. He crawled toward it and cried, seeing Yusuke's body. He took him in his arms and rocked his body, crying. His lover had a knife in his chest, the blood continued to roll and his face was white and cold.
"YUSUKE!!! Hold on, baby, please!" Nino cried, removing the knife and covering the wound with his hands.
"Please, honey, don't leave me!" Nino implored but Yusuke didn't react.
"It's too late, Kazunari, he's dead." A voice smirked.
Nino stood up. Anger had invaded his whole body and his eyes. Without thinking, he ran toward the man and punched him.
"Bastard, you're dead!!!!" He cried, the pain crossing his heart. The man smirked and caught his arm. A fight began between the two men. Suddenly, Nino fell and the man collapsed on his body. Kazu's eyes widened and he lowered his head. There was a knife buried in his chest, a lot of blood already rolling from his body. He coughed, the piercing pain invaded him while the man stared at him.
"Sorry but now, you're useless, Kazunari, I'm sad but I must kill you." He said before he took his throat and began to strangle the singer. Nino coughed, he felt the life leaving his body, it was horrible and with last effort, he grabbed the knife next to him and hammered it in the heart of the man who groaned in pain and collapsed beside him. Nino coughed heavily when the air entered his chest again. There was blood on his whole body and Ohno threw up seeing this slaughter.
"YU!!!!" Nino crawled toward his boyfriend. His chest was bleeding and hurt like hell. The cold and the weakness started to invade his body. With last strength, he hugged his lover's body, crying. "Wake up, Yu, wake up, please!" He implored but Yusuke didn't move. "I'm so, so sorry my love!" Nino cried, tears rolling on his face. "Please, baby don't leave me!!! I'll do what you want, I'll throw away my video games, my DS, I'll cook for you everyday, I'll clean our house alone, but please, baby, don't leave me!!!!" Nino implored desperately before fainting.
Tears rolled on Ohno's cheeks. This was Nino's dark past...
Ohno jumped and stood up. He was in an unknown bed.
"Satoshi!!" A voice called next to him.
"Jun?! What... Where am I?" Ohno asked, lost.
"Someone found you in the street, you fainted." Jun explained. "You don't eat enough!"
Ohno lowered his head, tears filling his eyes.
"Satoshi? What's wrong, Teddy?" Jun asked, worried. "Why are you crying?!"
"Kazu~…" Ohno sobbed and his friend hugged him in his arms while the older grabbed his shirt with despair. "Kazu... I saw his past..." Ohno stammered, crying loudly.
"It's okay, Toshi, don't cry." Jun said, without understanding who "Kazu" was. He rocked his friend and after some minutes, the artist fell asleep, exhausted. When he woke up, Jun had disappeared.
"Nino?" Ohno called. "Nino?!" He called desperately.
"Ouch... What happened?" Nino's voice answered.
"Nino?! Are you alright?!" Ohno exclaimed.
"Don't yell, my head hurts as if an elephant had walked on it." Nino whined, painfully.
"Sorry, it's my fault, I fainted." The older apologized. "I'm so happy, you're safe!!"
"I didn't know you liked me so much." Nino smirked, trying to hide his emotion. He really didn't know the older appreciated him. This feeling was very unusual for the young idol.
"I... No, it's not what you think, it's just... I was worried…" Ohno stammered, blushing.
"Don't lie, I know you are blushing." Nino smirked.
Ohno ignored him, thinking about his dream. Nino had a very dark past, the pictures of this night didn't want to leave Ohno's mind. When he fell asleep, the images appeared again. The forest, the blood, the rain; he could feel Nino's fear as if it was his. Ohno cried and stood up, breathing heavily. Drops of sweat rolled down his face and his whole body was shaking.
"Ohno? What's wrong? The baby you had a nightmare?!" Nino smirked, awake by the older.
Ohno looked at his hands. The tremble of his hands didn't want to stop. Tears rolled on his cheeks. He grabbed his knees and buried his face in them, crying loudly. He couldn't sleep, he didn't want to sleep, the pictures appeared in his mind when he closed his eyes.
"Satoshi, what's wrong?" Nino repeated, really worried this time.
"I can't sleep..."
"Why?"
"The pictures, they didn't want to leave... I can't sleep, Kazu, I can't... I don't want to see those pictures again!" Ohno stammered.
"What?! Which pictures? I don't understand what you mean!"
"The pictures of your past..." Ohno whispered and Nino froze. "When I fainted yesterday, I dreamed about you and Yusuke, about this night in the forest..."
Nino didn't answer, too shocked.
"Kazu?" Ohno asked, worried by his silence.
"I... how? I'm... Sorry, I want to be alone..." Nino stammered.
Ohno didn't respond. Nino's attitude worried him so much. He felt the pain and the fear when he told the singer about his dream. Nino seemed very distant as if this revelation had created a wall between them. Usually, Ohno felt very well the presence of the idol in his head but now, it was as if this presence was weak, far and the sleepy man couldn't bear it but he decided to leave Nino alone for this night. He closed his eyes and fell asleep, this time, dreamless.

Nino didn't speek to Ohno for 7 days. Seven days of nightmare. Seven days of pain and despair. Ohno looked like a dead man or a zombie, it wasn't very different with the shadows under his eyes, his white face and his empty look. He couldn't be happy or at least, normal when he knew somewhere in his head Nino suffered like hell. He felt guilty for making the idol remember his horrible past. Nino's presence was very far and at the same time, painful as if Ohno lived through his memories. Every day, he tried to talk with Nino but the younger didn't answer, hidden behind his wall of silence. They were like two perfect strangers, no questions, no answers, no communication. Just a silence. A distressing and heavy silence.
But after seven days of silence, Ohno couldn't resist anymore, grabbed a bag and took a taxi. When he arrived on the beach, he walked toward the sea and took his material. He smiled at the return of Nino's presence, the younger seemed curious by his action. The older leaned against a tree and took his fishing rod. The sun wasn’t strong and there was a pleasant breeze. After 10 minutes, Ohno leaned his head against the tree and closed his eyes. The atmosphere was very nice and the view amazing. The sun shined on the sea, showing so much beautiful colors with little waves which made a soft noise and Nino thought he had never seen such a wonderful landscape. Ohno looked at the blue sky without clouds with just some white birds flying around and smiled. He had lot of happy memories of Sho, Aiba, Jun and him, here, when they spend their holidays on this beach when they were child.
"Oh-chan, Oh-chan!!! I've found a shell!" Aiba announced happily while he ran toward him.
"Sugoi, can I see it?" Ohno asked.
"Look!" The younger answered with a proud smile as his friend took it, a soft smile appearing on his face. Both jumped when they heard a cry from the water. They raised their heads and discovered a cute little Jun who was trying to swim correctly.
"Oh-chan, look I’m a good swimmer!" Jun called, making funny noise.
"Wait, Junny, I join you!" Ohno smiled tenderly in front of his baby friend. He blinked when a hand touched his shoulder but grinned, seeing Sho with a blushing face.
"Ohno-san?" Sho asked, shyly.
"Yes?"
"It’s for you." Sho said blushed even stronger and held something out to Ohno. The sleepy man frowned a little and finally grinned when he saw a beautiful white pearl in his hand.
"Oh, it’s so cute!!! Where did you find it, it's very rare!" The older exclaimed happily, looking at the lightning pearl. "Thank you very much, Sho-kun, I love it!" He added before he kissed Sho's cheek. The younger opened his mouth, chocked, a deep blush appearing on his face and he ran away making Ohno smile sadly.

Ohno and Sho walked on the beach, silently. They stopped to look at the landscape. This place was very important to them. This place was where they came and played younger, with Jun and Masaki. Lot of things happened here. Their first bathing, first sand tower and especially, their first gift. Ohno looked at the sea, remembering all these precious memories and he grabbed his necklace. There was a beautiful lightning white pearl, the same than seven years ago. It was his gift, his precious gift from his best friend.
Sho stared at Ohno, blushing. "Toshi?" He asked after a deep breathe
Ohno raised his eyes, smiling. "Yes?"
"You… you know, we know each other since a lo-ng time…" Sho stammered, his face becoming more and more red.
"Yes?" The older frowned, not understanding what his friend meant.
"And I…"
"You what?"
"I think I love you…" Sho said, blushing and looking away. Ohno blushed deeply and put his hand on his cheek.
"I love you too." Satoshi answered.
"Eh?" The younger jumped.
"I love you, since a long time." Ohno repeated, his pink cheeks making him cutter than the younger. Sho smiled shyly and stroked his face with the back of his hand, looking at those wonderful pink lips. He wanted it, he wanted to catch this mouth for many years but didn't dare. Ohno smiled and looked right in those beautiful eyes.
"Kiss me." He whispered and Sho grinned before catching his lips. They kissed softly at the beginning and then, more roughly when the lust invaded their bodies, Sho holding Satoshi's neck possessively.
"I love you so damn much, Satoshi." Sho whispered before laying many kisses on his whole face. Ohno smiled sheepishly. Now, they could add their first confession and kiss at the memories of this place. Sometimes, life was very beautiful....
Ohno jumped when Nino asked,"What was that?"
"Oh, you're here now, I thought you were dead." Ohno replied, sarcastically. "It were my memories when I was younger." He added after a moment.
"It was Sho?"
"Yes, when we were 10 years old and when he confessed to me at 7 years later, it’s here where I started to date him." Ohno smiled. The sadness invaded his whole body.
"Did you show me your memories voluntarily?"
"Yes. I'm sorry for that night, I stole your past, I didn't have the right to do it." Ohno apologized.
Nino sighed. "It wasn't your fault. I just felt ashamed. Nobody knows about this day, even Toma." He smiled sadly. Ohno’s memories were so painful and so beautiful, there was so much love in Sho’s eyes and the younger felt his tears coming in his eyes.
"There are so many pieces of shadows in my life too..." Ohno said after some minutes.
"Can you show them to me?" Nino asked and the older nodded, closing his eyes.

Ohno ignored him, thinking about his dream. Nino had a very dark past, the pictures of this night didn't want to leave Ohno's mind. When he fell asleep, the images appeared again. The forest, the blood, the rain; he could feel Nino's fear as if it was his. Ohno cried and stood up, breathing heavily. Drops of sweat rolled down his face and his whole body was shaking.
"Ohno? What's wrong? The baby you had a nightmare?!" Nino smirked, awake by the older.
Ohno looked at his hands. The tremble of his hands didn't want to stop. Tears rolled on his cheeks. He grabbed his knees and buried his face in them, crying loudly. He couldn't sleep, he didn't want to sleep, the pictures appeared in his mind when he closed his eyes.
"Satoshi, what's wrong?" Nino repeated, really worried this time.
"I can't sleep..."
"Why?"
"The pictures, they didn't want to leave... I can't sleep, Kazu, I can't... I don't want to see those pictures again!" Ohno stammered.
"What?! Which pictures? I don't understand what you mean!"
"The pictures of your past..." Ohno whispered and Nino froze. "When I fainted yesterday, I dreamed about you and Yusuke, about this night in the forest..."
Nino didn't answer, too shocked.
"Kazu?" Ohno asked, worried by his silence.
"I... how? I'm... Sorry, I want to be alone..." Nino stammered.
Ohno didn't respond. Nino's attitude worried him so much. He felt the pain and the fear when he told the singer about his dream. Nino seemed very distant as if this revelation had created a wall between them. Usually, Ohno felt very well the presence of the idol in his head but now, it was as if this presence was weak, far and the sleepy man couldn't bear it but he decided to leave Nino alone for this night. He closed his eyes and fell asleep, this time, dreamless.

Nino didn't speek to Ohno for 7 days. Seven days of nightmare. Seven days of pain and despair. Ohno looked like a dead man or a zombie, it wasn't very different with the shadows under his eyes, his white face and his empty look. He couldn't be happy or at least, normal when he knew somewhere in his head Nino suffered like hell. He felt guilty for making the idol remember his horrible past. Nino's presence was very far and at the same time, painful as if Ohno lived through his memories. Every day, he tried to talk with Nino but the younger didn't answer, hidden behind his wall of silence. They were like two perfect strangers, no questions, no answers, no communication. Just a silence. A distressing and heavy silence.
But after seven days of silence, Ohno couldn't resist anymore, grabbed a bag and took a taxi. When he arrived on the beach, he walked toward the sea and took his material. He smiled at the return of Nino's presence, the younger seemed curious by his action. The older leaned against a tree and took his fishing rod. The sun wasn’t strong and there was a pleasant breeze. After 10 minutes, Ohno leaned his head against the tree and closed his eyes. The atmosphere was very nice and the view amazing. The sun shined on the sea, showing so much beautiful colors with little waves which made a soft noise and Nino thought he had never seen such a wonderful landscape. Ohno looked at the blue sky without clouds with just some white birds flying around and smiled. He had lot of happy memories of Sho, Aiba, Jun and him, here, when they spend their holidays on this beach when they were child.
"Oh-chan, Oh-chan!!! I've found a shell!" Aiba announced happily while he ran toward him.
"Sugoi, can I see it?" Ohno asked.
"Look!" The younger answered with a proud smile as his friend took it, a soft smile appearing on his face. Both jumped when they heard a cry from the water. They raised their heads and discovered a cute little Jun who was trying to swim correctly.
"Oh-chan, look I’m a good swimmer!" Jun called, making funny noise.
"Wait, Junny, I join you!" Ohno smiled tenderly in front of his baby friend. He blinked when a hand touched his shoulder but grinned, seeing Sho with a blushing face.
"Ohno-san?" Sho asked, shyly.
"Yes?"
"It’s for you." Sho said blushed even stronger and held something out to Ohno. The sleepy man frowned a little and finally grinned when he saw a beautiful white pearl in his hand.
"Oh, it’s so cute!!! Where did you find it, it's very rare!" The older exclaimed happily, looking at the lightning pearl. "Thank you very much, Sho-kun, I love it!" He added before he kissed Sho's cheek. The younger opened his mouth, chocked, a deep blush appearing on his face and he ran away making Ohno smile sadly.

Ohno and Sho walked on the beach, silently. They stopped to look at the landscape. This place was very important to them. This place was where they came and played younger, with Jun and Masaki. Lot of things happened here. Their first bathing, first sand tower and especially, their first gift. Ohno looked at the sea, remembering all these precious memories and he grabbed his necklace. There was a beautiful lightning white pearl, the same than seven years ago. It was his gift, his precious gift from his best friend.
Sho stared at Ohno, blushing. "Toshi?" He asked after a deep breathe
Ohno raised his eyes, smiling. "Yes?"
"You… you know, we know each other since a lo-ng time…" Sho stammered, his face becoming more and more red.
"Yes?" The older frowned, not understanding what his friend meant.
"And I…"
"You what?"
"I think I love you…" Sho said, blushing and looking away. Ohno blushed deeply and put his hand on his cheek.
"I love you too." Satoshi answered.
"Eh?" The younger jumped.
"I love you, since a long time." Ohno repeated, his pink cheeks making him cutter than the younger. Sho smiled shyly and stroked his face with the back of his hand, looking at those wonderful pink lips. He wanted it, he wanted to catch this mouth for many years but didn't dare. Ohno smiled and looked right in those beautiful eyes.
"Kiss me." He whispered and Sho grinned before catching his lips. They kissed softly at the beginning and then, more roughly when the lust invaded their bodies, Sho holding Satoshi's neck possessively.
"I love you so damn much, Satoshi." Sho whispered before laying many kisses on his whole face. Ohno smiled sheepishly. Now, they could add their first confession and kiss at the memories of this place. Sometimes, life was very beautiful....
Ohno jumped when Nino asked,"What was that?"
"Oh, you're here now, I thought you were dead." Ohno replied, sarcastically. "It were my memories when I was younger." He added after a moment.
"It was Sho?"
"Yes, when we were 10 years old and when he confessed to me at 7 years later, it’s here where I started to date him." Ohno smiled. The sadness invaded his whole body.
"Did you show me your memories voluntarily?"
"Yes. I'm sorry for that night, I stole your past, I didn't have the right to do it." Ohno apologized.
Nino sighed. "It wasn't your fault. I just felt ashamed. Nobody knows about this day, even Toma." He smiled sadly. Ohno’s memories were so painful and so beautiful, there was so much love in Sho’s eyes and the younger felt his tears coming in his eyes.
"There are so many pieces of shadows in my life too..." Ohno said after some minutes.
"Can you show them to me?" Nino asked and the older nodded, closing his eyes.
