Summary: Ohno looses his voice after a traumatic experience. He is desperate and alone, rejected by the others because of his silence. One day, he meets Jun, a young diver addicted to the sea. With Jun's help, Ohno discovers another world where the silence is the most precious thing. Together, they learn another language: the language of the sea.

Ohno ran. He ran like he never did, tears rolling down his cheeks like a waterfall. He felt betrayed, he felt fooled. His heart was aching so much. It was horrible. All his nightmares were coming back, pictures invading his mind, driving him crazy. Ohno ran to the beach, the only place where he felt safe. He sat on the edge of the water, crying loudly his pain. Suddenly, a shy scream made him jump and Ohno raised his head.
"Hinata..." Ohno approached the dolphin and stroked its head. "I remember everything, Hina but it's too painful..." Ohno cried, hugging the dolphin.
Jun caught his phone with panic and dialed the number with shaking hands.
"Moshi mosh?"
"Kazu, it's me, I need your help, now!" Jun almost shouted in the phone.
Ohno's face was buried in his knees, the sleepy man was still crying loudly. He couldn't stop. He couldn't believe Jun was lying to him since he woke up. He couldn't believe Jun was lying when he made love to him in this so tender and wonderful way. Ohno couldn't believe Jun was this mysterious boyfriend and he never had a brother. Everything was a lie. An awful and deep lie. All his feelings for Jun were built on a fake truth.
"Why?" Ohno whispered in a broken voice.
"You're here." A voice made Ohno jump and he turned his head to see Nino, looking at him with kind eyes.
"Leave me alone." Ohno replied.
"It's funny, Jun told me the same words than you at the same place a month ago." Nino chuckled, sitting next to Ohno.
"Is it a lie too?" Ohno mumbled.
"I know what Jun did wasn't good but he was desperate, he loves you too much." Nino said in a soft voice.
"Yes, and he lied to me for one month, playing with my memories and my feelings." Ohno smirked in a sarcastic voice.
"No. He did that because he thought it was the only way for both of you."
"Stupid." Ohno chuckled.
"Love can make you stupid." Nino laughed.
"So, is it true? Everything I wrote in this notebook and I remember?"
"Yes. Matsuda and Yamada did that to you but you found your voice again thanks to Jun."
"But Jun told me I was his brother, why?"
"Because during two years while you were in coma, he stayed next to you, hoping for your return. When you woke up, you didn't remember him."
"But why didn't he tell me the truth?"
"Because he was afraid. You didn't remember your past, you found your voice again and he was afraid you would leave him if he told you the truth."
"But..."
"Telling you he was your brother allowed him to stay by your side. He wanted to win your trust before telling you who he really was. He didn't want to lose you nor hurt you." Nino said softly.
"But he did. How did he imagine I would feel, learning I was raped, that a man raped me in front of my parents and killed them after, under my eyes?! Discovering I was mute, raped by a student for eight months. And learning he was my boyfriend, the one in my dreams, the only one able to touch me, to make love to me. How did you think I would react?!" Ohno asked in a weak voice.
"I know it's horrible, Ohchan. I know actually you just want to die but please, don't push Jun away. Don't reject him. He did that for you, even if it wasn't the right thing to do but it was for you. He loves you more than anything, you saved him this day."
"I saved him?"
"Yes. Before you met Jun, he had a boyfriend. They were in love, everything was perfect but one day, Yusuke changed. He became violent and very jealous. He was cheating on Jun but couldn't accept when he was seeing other persons than him next to him. Jun suffered but stayed with him, love blurring his view, his reason. Yusuke started to beat him, at the beginning it was just some slaps but with the time, it became punches. Jun accepted it during three years but one day, Yusuke went too far and he finished at hospital in a critic state. We called the police but Yusuke had already disappeared."
"You let Yusuke hit Jun during three years?!"
"We didn't know. When Yu was making visible marks on his body, he forbade Jun to see us. We discovered the truth when he was at hospital."
"But why does Jun was staying with this bastard?"
"Because love was blurring his judgment. He was with Yusuke for 7 years before he changed and maybe Jun hoped he would be back to normal."
"What happened, then?"
"It took six months for Jun to recover and after this story, he didn't stay the same. But something saved him, the same thing that changed you."
"Eh?"
"The sea. Jun was a born a diver, he always dived with Masaki but stopped when he met Yusuke. After that, he returned to the sea and it helped him to forget. When he met you, he fully overcame his trauma because he found someone to protect, someone to save and love." Nino smiled, looking at the horizon.
"You love him, ne?"
"Yes, with all my soul."
"Why are you doing this for me, then?"
"Because I want Jun to be happy and he will be happy only if you are here. You know, I was there after Yusuke left, I was there for him during lots of years. I know Jun loved me but he never saw me. He never saw the Ninomiya Kazunari who was loving him more than anything. I don't blame him nor you for that, heart has his reasons that the reason ignores. He can't force his heart to love me. I fought for him, during ten years but now, I'm tired, I just want him to be happy, to find the love of his life. And this love, Ohchan, it's you. Don't leave him, don't do what Yusuke did to him, he wouldn't bear it."
"I never thought you could speak like that." Ohno chuckled.
"It will be the first and only time I'm doing this." Nino smirked, blushing.
"You're more sensitive than I thought. Thank you, Nino."
"You're welcome. But I warn you. If you hurt Jun, don't ever appeared in front of me or I will kill you."
"Thank you, Nino." Ohno laughed softly.
"I leave you alone, you need some time to think." Nino stood up and left the beach.
Look up at the sky, see the stars?
They're just up there shining beautifully
Listen to the stars, can you hear them?
They're just up there twinkling humbly
Ohno stared at the sea, the sunset shining on the water. He didn't jump when some hours later, Jun sat down next to him. Ohno smiled softly and took the diver's hand, laying his head on the younger's shoulder after his boyfriend had put his necklace around his neck. The blue pearl in the middle was shining more than ever with the sun.
Shooting star, fall this way and please wipe your tears
I just want you to stay here smiling peacefully
Look up at the sky, see the dawn breaking?
Our new days are about to start here
Ohno never felt as calm as today because even if he remembered his traumas, he knew the sea would always be there for him with someone who was loving him more than anything.
We said the eyes were the mirror's soul, maybe the sea was the mirror of the heart.
Whatever life would impose to him, Ohno knew there was a place where nobody would judge him, a place where the respect and the silence were the most precious things.

"Satoshi..." Jun started but Ohno cut him off, putting his finger on his lips.
"I'm sorry for what I told you earlier, I felt betrayed but Nino opened my eyes and I understand why you did that."
"I'm so sorry." Jun whispered, tears shining in his eyes. "And I lo..."
"Tss. Let me start, Jun. Let me tell you these words I wasn't able to tell you before this accident." Ohno stroked his cheek, looking straight into the younger's eyes. "I love you, Jun. More than anything. You did so many things, I owe you so much. I can't explain what I feel but you have to know this feeling is big, indestructible and amazing. I love you, Jun. I love every parts of you now and forever." Ohno whispered shyly, blushing.
Jun smiled like he never did. The diver simply nodded and hugged his boyfriend tightly, looking at the ocean. They didn't need words, the beautiful horizon was speaking for us.
"Umi no shizukesa." Ohno whispered to the beautiful horizon his grip tightening around his boyfriend's hand who kissed his neck tenderly.

I'm so happy and sad at the same time xD I put a part of myself in this story because of my passion, the sea (and the diving, of course xD) with my two lovely ichibans xD to be honest I was planning to kill Ohchan but at the last time I changed my mind. I really couldn't kill my baby chubby boy, ne? I think some readers would kill me if I did that lol XD I hope you don't mind this fluffy end, I'm too sensitive to kill one of them (mostly after my yama fic, A broken promise), it would make me cry the whole day xD
