Summary: Japan, Seigoku's period. Three empires were living in harmony. The empire of fire, the empire of earth and the empire of water. But one day, the king of the fire's empire takes the power to reign on the world. All the kings are killed. All, except one. Satoshi Ohno the last prince of the water's empire is hidden by his father's men. His last chance to save the three empires is to find the secret weapon able to kill the traitor. Helped by his best guards, Ninomiya Kazunari and Sakurai Sho, Ohno's quest starts. But things aren't like they seem to be and maybe Ohno contains in himself a power stronger and more dangerous than anything.
Chapter 9: Hidden secrets
"Satoshi!!!!" Jun screamed when his lover collapsed on his knees, blood wetting his yukata.
"Ohchan!" Aiba and Sho rushed toward him as Nino was blinking, leaving his trance.
"Baby, please!" Jun cried, hugging his lover who coughed, spitting some blood.
"Jun..."
"I'm here, baby."
"I'm cold..."
"Masaki, Sho, we have to leave, take Nino with you, he is still shocked!" Jun lifted his lover in his arms. The young man ran toward the door. "Please, let us pass! Please!"
"Your hearts are all clean, you can pass." The voice stated and the door opened.
"Whisper!" Jun called and the black horse galloped toward him. "Come on, boy, I need your help again." Jun climbed on his back with Ohno in his arms. "Don't sleep, baby!"
The four friends galloped as quickly as possible before leaving the forest.
"Whooo!!!" Sho gasped in front of the view.
"Arashi..." Aiba whispered.
"Satoshi! Satoshi, wake up, baby!" Jun screamed.
"Jun, the land!"
"Stay here!" Jun ordered.
"Where is he going?" Sho asked.
"Where he will heal Ohchan."
"So, Arashi is like that?"
"We aren't really in Arashi. We are on the edge."
"Satoshi..." Nino moaned.
"Nino? He is waking up." Aiba exclaimed.
Jun stopped his horse in front of the little hill. The young man laid his lover on the grass and kneeled down, whispering lots of words. His purple eyes were shining brightly, a warm wind wrapping them.
"Huhhh!!" Ohno suddenly gasped, his chest suddenly raising roughly.
"Satoshi!!" Jun took his lover in his arms.
"Jun?"
"I thought I had lost you."
"Aki said it wasn't my time." Ohno smiled. Jun brought their lips in a deep kiss, wanting to be sure that his lover was fine."Are we in Arashi?"
"Not yet. We are on the edge. You'll see, Arashi is an amazing place."
"Have you ever seen it?"
"In my dreams." Jun stroked his lover's cheek.
"Nino..."
"I think he is awake now. He will feel bad for what he did."
"It wasn't his fault."
"I know and I'm not angry at him."Jun stood up and both climbed on Whisper to join their friends.
"Satoshi!!" Nino screamed when they saw them. The young guard ran toward his friend, throwing his arms around his neck.
"I'm fine."Ohno smiled.
"I'm so sorry! I should be punished for what I did." Nino groaned.
"Kazu, it's okay, you weren't yourself." Ohno patted his friend's head.
"But I almost killed you!"
"You didn't. I'm alive. It could have happened to Jun too, stop blaming yourself."
"But..."
"No 'but', Nino. Satoshi is right, it could have happened to me too." Jun cut the guard off. "I just have a hint of your strength and I'm not disappointed."
"Next time, I'll use it to protect you and Satoshi." Nino nodded.
"Come on, we still have to join Arashi."
"How long will it take us?"
"An hour, not more." Aiba said.
"Here we are." Jun grinned.
"Wooaa! This is Arashi?!" Sho's eyes widened.
"It's incredible!" Nino agreed.
"Fantastic!" Ohno added.
It was another world. Arashi was like a big paradise with lots of trees, flowers and some rivers with birds and other animals walking peacefully.
"It's like a world full of colors." Aiba exclaimed.
"The nature and animals are protected by Shadow here." Jun explained.
"And what do we do now?" Sho asked.
"I have to bring Satoshi to Shadow. You can stay here, you'll find some food easily." Jun wrapped his lover's waist.
"Where are we going?"
"You'll see, it's a surprise." Jun smiled. Ohno pouted but followed his lover and soon, gasped in front of the view.
"Jun..."
"Great view, ne?" Jun chuckled.
"It's amazing." Ohno ran toward the edge of the lack. "How did they build this statue?!" Ohno pointed the statue made of ice above the lack.
"I don't know. Some stories say that Arashi is a creation of Shadow's imagination. As if we were in his mind. And maybe it's the case when you see all these wonderful things."
"It doesn't melt under this sun?"
"I told you. This place is magic. And you haven't seen everything."
"I want to!"
"We have to see Shadow before. Come on."
They walked toward the big statue and Jun whispered some words, making an invisible door open in front of them. Ohno's eyes widened when they entered the statue. It was like a castle made of ice, the sun shining on it without making it melt. And despite the ice, it wasn't cold but warm, as if they were on a beach with many rainbows.
"It's..." Ohno stopped, not finding the good word to describe this paradise.
"And you haven't seen everything." Jun smiled. They finally arrived in front of another door that opened at Jun's words.
"The statue doesn't look as big as that from outside."
"The power of the imagination. Look." Jun pointed the landscape in front of them. It was like a big garden with a blue sky and soft green grass.
"Wooo!" Ohno held out his hand, a purple butterfly climbing on it.
"None humans have ever came here. There are just the nature and animals."
"I wish I could stay here forever." Ohno sighed.
"One day, we will come back here."
"Eh?" Ohno raised his eyes but Jun only smiled and looked away.
"Sit here." Jun showed the grass.
"Jun..."
"Trust me." Jun raised his hand, a violet flam wrapping it. Ohno looked at him with lost eyes but let his lover touch his forehead before his view blurred and the young prince collapsed on the ground.
Ohno opened his eyes with a moan and blinked, realizing he wasn't in the forest anymore.
"Satoru?" Ohno raised his face to see a beautiful young man staring at him.
"Wh-o who are you?"
"Satoru!!" The man ran toward him and hugged him tightly, crying.
"Who are you?"
"You don't recognize me?" The man asked.
"N-o."
"And like that?" The man's face changed.
"Jun?!"
"I guess you don't remember." The man said sadly, stroking Ohno's cheek. "I've missed you so much, Satoru."
"Ano, my name is Satoshi, not Satoru."
"Your real name is Satoru. Satoru Kei Kenta Matsumoto."
"What?!"
"My name is Jun Matsumoto but everybody knows me under the name of..."
"Shadow..."
"Yes. In our dimension I am Shadow and you are Satoru, my brother."
"Our dimension?"
"There are two dimensions. The human's world and another world named, Negai. Haven't you always wondered why you were different, why you had powers?"
"My uncle told me I had to wait to know."
"It's because you are from Negai. In our world, we were the heirs of our kingdom, we were meant to lead together but someone took you away from me." Shadow growled angrily.
"I don't understand... Why haven't you Jun's face if you are him?"
"Because Jun is my reincarnation, like you with Satoru. Our souls are alive but our bodies died a long time ago. It's the reason why you have no memories of me. When they kidnapped you, I looked for you in the whole world. I did everything to find you and used my magic too much." Shadow's voice broke.
"But why am I alive today?"
"The man who kidnapped you had planned to invade our two worlds to lead us."
"Jin..."
"Yes. In Negai, the time isn't the same. We live longer and when on earth a year passed, in Negai it was a minute. Jin kept you in a hidden place and erased your memories but someone found you."
"Who?"
"Johnny, your uncle. Johnny was a monk in Negai and brought you back to me."
"But..."
"I decided to let you go. I wanted to protect you and keeping you hidden on the human's world was the best."
"But you could have stayed with me."
"No. As I said, I had used too much powers to find you and I wasn't enough powerful to protect you against Jin."
"It means we are brothers?"
"Yes. That's why Jun was forbidden to tell you the truth and was afraid of your reaction."
"But I don't understand Jun and you are two different persons?"
"No we are the same persons but I can appear with this face just in Arashi. The person you see in front of you right now is Jun but we haven't the same appearance as I changed my body when I came to the human's world. It's as if Jun had two appearances. The old one, me. And the reincarnation, Jun. Jun is Shadow and Shadow is Jun."
"But I am in love with my own brother, it's wrong." Ohno protested.
"When I'm... When Jun is kissing you, do you feel it's wrong?"
"But I didn't know you were my brother." Shadow smiled and cupping Ohno's face, brought their lips together. The young prince moaned and opened his mouth, letting Shadow kiss him deeply.
"And now?" Shadow whispered between their lips.
"I... No..."
"It's because what we share is something too powerful to be explained. We are bonded, Sato, we are meant to be together. I know it's hard to learn that now and you are lost but..."
"I'm fine. I think I feel better to know the truth. It explains lots of questions that I had."
"Will you forgive me for letting you alone all this time?"
"It wasn't your fault. I know you've done everything to find me. Sho told me that your pain was so deep that your tears created Arashi for me."
"Yes. I wanted a place where I would cry in peace. I knew you would like something calm with lots of colors."
"Arashi is perfect. I love it and I would love to stay there."
"I promise you one day you will come back. We will live in peace here. But first, you have a mission."
"Why me?"
"Because you are powerful, Sato. You have the strength to beat Jin."
"And how can I beat him?"
"There is one thing able to kill Jin. This thing is something we share and that you'll find at the right moment."
"Why don't you just tell me?"
"Because it's something you have to find by yourself, if not, it won't work."
"What do I have to do now?"
"Let Jun train you and join the empire of the water. You still have many persons here to fight by your side and after, go to the Fire's empire and kill Jin."
"Will I see you again?"
"Baby, you are seeing me everyday. I am Jun. With just another face." Shadow smiled softly, stroking his brother's cheek.
"I'll do my best."
"I know. Be careful and don't forget I love you more than the life itself." Shadow kissed his brother's lips before everything became dark.
"Satoshi?" Ohno opened his eyes to see his lover above him, looking at him with worried eyes.
"Jun?"
"Are you okay?"
"Shadow... He..." Ohno looked around him but his brother wasn't here anymore. "You are Shadow."
"In a way, yes." Jun smiled softly. "I'm sorry for lying to you."
"I understand why you did. And I'm not angry."
"Really?"
"Yes. You know, when Shadow told me the truth, I said it was wrong because we are brothers. He kissed me and asked me if I still felt it was wrong."
"What did you say?" Jun asked nervously. Ohno smiled and kissed his lover as answer. Jun grinned between their lips and kissed him back deeply, his hands traveling on Ohno's soft skin.
"I said 'no'."
"Satoshi..." Jun moaned and climbed on his brother, taking his yukata off delicately. "Are you sure?"
"Nothing feels wrong when I'm with you. I just feel complete." Ohno whispered.
"Because you are mine." Jun growled before taking his clothes off.
"Is it real? Or is it another dream?"
"I swear I'll make you feel how real it is." Jun smirked, attacking his lover's neck hungrily while his fingers were teasing his entrance.
Ohno moaned softly, opening his legs to welcome his brother who started to prepare him carefully, not wanting to hurt him. A soft music started to resound around them, making Ohno blink in surprise. "It's Shadow's music."Jun explained.
"So, it's yours?"
"Yes. My song for you." Jun smiled and entered his lover slowly. The grass under them grew and wrapped their bodies that started to move in a perfect sync as if they were meant to be together in this way.
"Jun..." Ohno's hand traveled in Jun's short brown hair, his head arching back and offering his white throat to Jun who licked it with passion as his movements became faster.
"I love you so much. I've finally found you..." Jun repeated like a song, kissing his lover with despair.
"I love you too. Jun...harder..." Ohno moaned, wrapping his legs around his brother. Warmth surrounded their bodies as the music was still resounding and Jun moved harder and faster, bringing them over the edge in loud screams of pleasure.
Jun smiled and kissed Ohno's shining tattoo before pulling out. It was like he wanted. It had been perfect. They had formed one in a perfect way after all these years.
"Jun?"
"Hun?"
"Do you have a tattoo too?"
"Of course." Jun chuckled and turned his back toward Ohno who gasped. The young prince touched the purple half moon on Jun's shoulder blade before laying a kiss on it.
"I knew I had seen it the first time I saw you naked in the river."
"You were too curious. You almost found out." Jun smirked.
"What do they mean?"
"I don't know. We born with these tattoo and when we asked mama, she said she didn't know the meaning but that it was the proof we belonged to each other."
"I like this idea." Ohno grinned, kissing Jun's naked shoulder.
"Me too." Jun pushed his brother on the ground to kiss him again.
"The others..."
"They can wait. I've waited for you too long and now I have you, I'll never let someone take you away from me." Ohno moaned at these words and let his lover enter him for the second time.
When the two brothers joined their friend the next day after a night full of love, Aiba smiled softly and hugged his 'brother'.
"I'm happy he has accepted it."
"Me too."
"So, what Masaki told us was true. You are Shadow and Satoru?" Sho asked.
"In different bodies but yes, we are." Jun nodded.
"It explains many things." Sho whispered.
"What do we do, now?" Nino groaned.
"We have to join the Water's empire." Jun explained. Ohno whispered something in his lover's ear and Jun nodded. Without a word, Ohno took Nino's hand and led him away.
"Satoshi?"
"I'm sorry."
"What for?"
"I've hurt you."
"Mmm. Well, I have to admit that it's hard for me to be rejected but you didn't hurt me. I know you love me but we can't cut a bond as strong as you two have." Nino smiled sadly.
"Jun told you that he was my brother, ne? It's the reason why you never left me."
"I knew who he was, yes. But I also stayed because my place is by your side. Forever. You're my best friend and I love you. And Jun asked me to take care of you if things turned bad for him. It proves that he trusts me enough to let me his so precious brother."
"Kazu..." Ohno whispered.
"No matter what, Satoshi, I'll always be here for you. Like Aiba with Jun, you are my family. Even if I can't have you as my lover, I want to keep you as my best friend or my brother."
"You're so precious to me, Kazu."Ohno hugged his friend tightly.
"For me too. Come on, prince Ohno, we have a battle to win."
"Stop calling me like that!" Ohno pouted, making Nino laugh.
"I know you love me yet." Nino smirked.
"Yes, I do." Ohno smiled softly. Nino winked and wrapped his waist to join their friends.
Yes, despite his link with Jun, he really loved Kazunari.

"In a way, yes." Jun smiled softly. "I'm sorry for lying to you."
"I understand why you did. And I'm not angry."
"Really?"
"Yes. You know, when Shadow told me the truth, I said it was wrong because we are brothers. He kissed me and asked me if I still felt it was wrong."
"What did you say?" Jun asked nervously. Ohno smiled and kissed his lover as answer. Jun grinned between their lips and kissed him back deeply, his hands traveling on Ohno's soft skin.
"I said 'no'."
"Satoshi..." Jun moaned and climbed on his brother, taking his yukata off delicately. "Are you sure?"
"Nothing feels wrong when I'm with you. I just feel complete." Ohno whispered.
"Because you are mine." Jun growled before taking his clothes off.
"Is it real? Or is it another dream?"
"I swear I'll make you feel how real it is." Jun smirked, attacking his lover's neck hungrily while his fingers were teasing his entrance.
Ohno moaned softly, opening his legs to welcome his brother who started to prepare him carefully, not wanting to hurt him. A soft music started to resound around them, making Ohno blink in surprise. "It's Shadow's music."Jun explained.
"So, it's yours?"
"Yes. My song for you." Jun smiled and entered his lover slowly. The grass under them grew and wrapped their bodies that started to move in a perfect sync as if they were meant to be together in this way.
"Jun..." Ohno's hand traveled in Jun's short brown hair, his head arching back and offering his white throat to Jun who licked it with passion as his movements became faster.
"I love you so much. I've finally found you..." Jun repeated like a song, kissing his lover with despair.
"I love you too. Jun...harder..." Ohno moaned, wrapping his legs around his brother. Warmth surrounded their bodies as the music was still resounding and Jun moved harder and faster, bringing them over the edge in loud screams of pleasure.
Jun smiled and kissed Ohno's shining tattoo before pulling out. It was like he wanted. It had been perfect. They had formed one in a perfect way after all these years.
"Jun?"
"Hun?"
"Do you have a tattoo too?"
"Of course." Jun chuckled and turned his back toward Ohno who gasped. The young prince touched the purple half moon on Jun's shoulder blade before laying a kiss on it.
"I knew I had seen it the first time I saw you naked in the river."
"You were too curious. You almost found out." Jun smirked.
"What do they mean?"
"I don't know. We born with these tattoo and when we asked mama, she said she didn't know the meaning but that it was the proof we belonged to each other."
"I like this idea." Ohno grinned, kissing Jun's naked shoulder.
"Me too." Jun pushed his brother on the ground to kiss him again.
"The others..."
"They can wait. I've waited for you too long and now I have you, I'll never let someone take you away from me." Ohno moaned at these words and let his lover enter him for the second time.
When the two brothers joined their friend the next day after a night full of love, Aiba smiled softly and hugged his 'brother'.
"I'm happy he has accepted it."
"Me too."
"So, what Masaki told us was true. You are Shadow and Satoru?" Sho asked.
"In different bodies but yes, we are." Jun nodded.
"It explains many things." Sho whispered.
"What do we do, now?" Nino groaned.
"We have to join the Water's empire." Jun explained. Ohno whispered something in his lover's ear and Jun nodded. Without a word, Ohno took Nino's hand and led him away.
"Satoshi?"
"I'm sorry."
"What for?"
"I've hurt you."
"Mmm. Well, I have to admit that it's hard for me to be rejected but you didn't hurt me. I know you love me but we can't cut a bond as strong as you two have." Nino smiled sadly.
"Jun told you that he was my brother, ne? It's the reason why you never left me."
"I knew who he was, yes. But I also stayed because my place is by your side. Forever. You're my best friend and I love you. And Jun asked me to take care of you if things turned bad for him. It proves that he trusts me enough to let me his so precious brother."
"Kazu..." Ohno whispered.
"No matter what, Satoshi, I'll always be here for you. Like Aiba with Jun, you are my family. Even if I can't have you as my lover, I want to keep you as my best friend or my brother."
"You're so precious to me, Kazu."Ohno hugged his friend tightly.
"For me too. Come on, prince Ohno, we have a battle to win."
"Stop calling me like that!" Ohno pouted, making Nino laugh.
"I know you love me yet." Nino smirked.
"Yes, I do." Ohno smiled softly. Nino winked and wrapped his waist to join their friends.
Yes, despite his link with Jun, he really loved Kazunari.
