Summary: Nino is a doctor. His specialty? Finding the lies in the criminal's eyes and their behavior. Nobody can lie to him but one day, Nino discovers that maybe there is one person able to read him as an open book and can beat him on his specialty. Now, the game is starting, who will be the best liar?
Chapter 3:
Nino's pov:
"What the fuck?!" I exclaimed, looking at Jun who looked as shocked as I was.
"Satoshi, what are you doing here?" Jun asked.
"I told you I wanted to meet Ninomiya." Ohno smirked.
"Jun, can you be kind enough to explain me what is happening?!" I yelled.
"This is one of my friends, Ohno Satoshi."
"But he said his name was Kentarou." I protested.
"Kentarou is my name when I'm in a night club." Ohno chuckled, visibly happy about his little joke and my shocked eyes.
"And what do you want?" I frowned, still angry at him because of his rejection. Ohno walked toward me, staring at me right in the eyes with a mysterious smile.
"Jun said you were the best at finding the lies. Is he right?" I gulped as Ohno whispered these words in my ear. What was he doing? What was he playing at? Was he trying to intimidate me? You must be really stupid Mr Teddy bear for thinking you are better than me.
"Of course, I'm the best." I replied with arrogance.
"Show me." Ohno smirked.
"And why would I? I don't care about your opinion, leave." I groaned, turning around to leave.
"Are you afraid or still offended that I rejected the almighty Ninomiya Kazunari?" Ohno chuckled, making me freeze.
"How do you dare?! Alright, bring your bitch's ass and look at what Ninomiya Kazunari can do!" I yelled. Ohno only smirked and followed us.
"Are you crazy, Kazu?! It's forbidden to bring strangers!"
"It's my company, my building, I do what I want." I muttered.
"If you say so." Jun mumbled.
"Don't leave him alone. I'm going to give him a little lesson. Nobody is allowed to doubt of my capacities and to reject me. Just you." I kissed his nose and left to join the suspect.
I slammed the door behind me, making the man jump.
"Alright, we can start." I stated.
"Why are you doing that?" Jun asked to the man beside him.
"I want to see his capacities."
"Satoshi, you're not the type of man to act and defy someone like that. What's your goal?" Jun sighed.
"I don't know." Ohno whispered, his eyes glued on Nino through the window. Jun rolled his eyes with despair, hoping this stupid game wouldn't end in a 3rd world war.
I stared at the man with my scariest eyes. I already knew he was lying. He was very nervous, looking everywhere around him, sweat rolling down his temples.
"So, where were you this day?" I asked.
"At home."
"And is there someone who can confirm your alibi?"
"No."
"And you still hope I'm going to believe you?" I smirked.
"It's true. I was alone and watching a TV show."
"A TV show?"
"Yes. Johnny's countdown." I almost burst out in laughing. Was he serious?!
"I see. And you think I'm going to believe this lie?" I arched my eyebrows in disbelief.
"Yes." The man stared at me with desperate eyes.
"Do you really think I'm an idiot?"

"Listen, I have lots of work waiting for me so, tell me the truth." I snapped.
"Is he always like that?" Ohno asked.
"No. He is exhausted, I think his anger is talking." Jun sighed.
"He should let you this case then."
"You don't know how Kazu is." Jun mumbled.
"I think I have an idea." Ohno chuckled.
"So?" I repeated. We were here for 20 minutes and I really was fed up with this idiot.
"Alright. I was at Atom's night club, in Shibuya." The man finally gave up.
"Why was it so hard for you to tell the truth?"
"Because if my family discovers I was in a bar, kissing men while I have to marry the daughter of my father's boss in one month and if they learn what happened, I..." The man lowered his head, ashamed. I almost felt sad for him.

"Confront your family and take your responsibilities before crying over yourself." I replied, standing up to leave. "But at least, I know you haven't killed this man, we will check the camera to confirm your alibi but I know you are saying the truth."
"You were very mean with him." Ohno said when I saw him outside.
"He deserved it. I have lots of work." I snapped.
"That doesn't mean you have the right to hurt and humiliate people." Ohno muttered. I rolled my eyes. We weren't in Wonderland, life was hard and you had to fight if you wanted to survive.
"Listen, I don't care about your opinion."
"Of course." Ohno smirked. Was he really defying me? Stupid chubby man.
"Leave, please."
"It took you 20 minutes to solve this case, it's a bit long."
"Because you think you would be better?" I smirked.
"I'm sure I can." Ohno looked at me with mysterious eyes. I blinked, shivers invading me.
"I would love to see that." I smirked and turned around. "Yamada-san, when my next case is?" I asked to my secretary.
"In five minutes, Ninomiya-sensei."
"Alright. Ohno, you will take this case."
"Kazunari!!!" Jun protested.
"I'm the boss, I do what I want. So, Ohno, are you okay with that?" I smiled with irony.
"Yes." Ohno defied my look.
"Perfect. I'm impatient to see what you can do. I suggest you a bet. If you lose, you owe me one night. If you win, I'll do what you want." I smirked, opening the door next to Ohno.
"Look, then." Ohno simply said before entering the room.
"Kazu..."
"I know what I'm doing, Jun."
"Maybe but the next case is with Terashima's daugther."
"WHAT?!Why didn't you tell me?!" I panicked.
"I tried but you were too focused on your stupid bet with Satoshi. If he fails, it's the end of Ninomiya's institute."
"Maybe I could stop this now."
"Too late. We just have to pray." Jun sighed.
"If it turns bad, I'll stop him."
"I have the feeling Satoshi can succeed." Jun smiled mysteriously, making me blink. What did he mean?
We entered the hidden room and stared at Ohno sitting in front of the man. I realized how cute he was with the light on him. God, I hoped he wouldn't mess this case or it would be the end of my career.

"This camera is filming everything. I know the truth already. I know everything but to believe in my theory, we need your explanations. Your real confession, so, will you tell it by yourself or do you want to end in jail forever for a crime you haven't even committed?"

"Good. Now, tell me why you want to pay for someone else's crime and have changed your name?"
"I haven't raped her. I work for Terashima-san since 20 years and recently, my daughter started to have big health's problem. She has a cancer and needs to stay at hospital. I asked Terashima-san to pay more to pay the hospital but he refused. I've worked so hard for 20 years and it's how he thanked me!" The man hit the table with his fist. "I started to steal money to the company. I've falsified the contracts to win lots of money. I'm not a stealer but it was for my daughter. She is only 7 years old." The man sobbed.
"And this night, at the party, you didn't rape the girl but saw someone else raping her."

"It's the second president of the company. He is Terashima's closest friend."

"You were amazing, Satoshi!" Jun exclaimed.
"He wasn't bad. And mostly lucky." I muttered, annoyed to recognize his skill. He was incredible. I didn't expect him to be that good. I hadn't even seen the man lying about his name, too focused on Ohno.
"You really are an arrogant brat and a bad player. Admit I've impressed you." Ohno smirked.
"You did it once, I'm sure you wouldn't be so lucky twice." I snapped. There was no way I would admit I was impressed of his talent.
"I can ask you what I want, then." Ohno chuckled in front of my angry face, clearly enjoying the situation.
"Yes. A deal is a deal. What do you want? Money?" I couldn't erase the bet, he had won after all and as bad player as I was, I was always keeping my promises. It was a question of pride.
"I want to work for you." Ohno stared at me with mysterious eyes, making me blink.
"What?!" Jun and I exclaimed at the same time.
