Jun'spov:
"What do you mean?" I asked with a shaking voice.
"I'm going to break you."He too? What did I do this time to be hated by someone I thought was my friend.
"Why? We are friends..."Kame burst out laugh at my words before looking at me with scaring eyes.
"I've never been your friend, Jun. Why do you think Sonoda was bullying you everyday?"
"You..."
"Yes. I ordered him to beat you and as he hates you, he agreed easily."
"But why?"
"Because you've broken my Hana's heart."
"Hana?"
"Yes. Hana.The girl who was dating your dear brother. I love her. And you broke her heart. She came to my house, crying so much and saying you had forced Sho to leave her."
"I never forced him. And Hana was a bitch, she never loved Sho and used him!" I gasped when Kame hit my face, blood leaving the corner of my mouth.
"She did love him but you were always here, stealing her her boyfriend!!!"
"Why didn't you date her then?"
"Because she doesn't love me. She loves Sho. Everything is your fault if she tried to kill herself when he left her for a shit like you!" Kame yelled, hitting my body with his foot. I whined in pain, tears filling my eyes.
"She hit me. Sho left her because she hit me."
"Hana would never do that. She is the kindest girl of the world. You were just jealous because she had your brother and you weren't the center of his attention anymore. You wanted him for yourself. Disgusting shit!!" I screamed in pain when Kame grabbed me and threw me against the tree, cutting my breathe. I stood up with difficulty and stared at him with a death glare. No way I would let him hit me so easily. Even if my asthma was coming back and I was breathing with difficulty.
"She is just a bitch and you are too stupid to realize it!"
"Bastard!" Kame grabbed my arm but I punched his face roughly, making him fall. I put my hand on the tree to keep my balance, my lungs imploring for air, my face paling, drops of sweat rolling down my body.
"She never loved Sho. She just wanted him for his money to have a perfect golden life. She is a rotten girl and loves to break people's life."
"I'll show you how to respect her." Kame took a knife in his pocket and smiled evilly. I moved back, afraid and Kame approached me to throw me on the ground before climbing on top of me.
"Ple-ase..." I panted heavily.
"I'll break you. Forever. You're going to suffer a lot." I screamed in pain when the knife cut my cheek's skin, blood starting to roll like a waterfall.
"N-o!!!" I implored, trying to push him away but I was trying to breathe correctly and was too weak to hit him.
"Freak! You should have never born. You should die or should be interned! Shits like you are just errors!" I cried again when the knife cut my neck's skin, the knife traveling to my chest. I was going to faint. I couldn't handle more. The pain was too intense. I just had to wait for him to kill me.
"Stop it, Kame or you will kill him." I gasped when I saw Sonoda next to us.
"None of your business, leave." Kame snapped.
"No. I agreed to beat him but not to kill him. He has had enough now, let him go."
"Leave!"
"I've called the police. You are my friend, Kazuya and I won't let you go in jail." Sonoda repeated.
"You're annoying." Kame groaned.
"I know. You can still hit him at school if you want to make him pay but don't kill him, he is a Sakurai and we would have too many problems."
"You're right. You're going to love school even more, Jun." Kame smirked and cut my skin again before running away with Sonoda.
I tried to crawl to call for help but my lungs gave up and I collapsed, everything turning black.
It was like a dream. A painful and happy dream. It was as if I was hearing someone calling my name with despair but I couldn't answer. My eyes were barely open and I raised my arm weakly but none sound left my throat. Again, the voice called my name. Who was it? Maybe Kazu.
"Sho..." I managed to say in a whisper until the voice became weaker, the sign the person was leaving. Tears started to roll down my cheeks. So, it was that. I was going to end like that with my wounds and my lungs begging for air. What a painful death. I would have just wanted to see Sho a last time. To tell him I regretted everything and had never stopped loving him. To tell him he was the most perfect person I knew. My life was going to end on lies and regrets. It was so painful.
"Oh my God, Jun!!!" Nino or the person I thought being Nino found me. "Sho!!! He is here!!!" I heard footsteps and calls rushing toward me.
"Jun!!!"Sho. Was it him? I grinned happily. At least, I would be able to tell him I loved him. "Jun, baby, what have they done to you?!"
"Sh-o..."
Tsss, don't speak, the doctors are coming. Kazu, his inhalator!!!" I felt tears falling on my face and realized Sho was crying. I raised my hand with difficulty to put it on his cheek.
"I'm so-rry."
"I know. It wasn't your fault. Inhale, now." Sho brought my inhalator to my mouth but I gagged, unable to inhale.
"I lo-veNii-chan so mu-ch." I smiled weakly before closing my eyes.
"Jun!!! Jun, don't close your eyes!!! Jun, wake up!!!" Sho screamed with despair, shaking my body.
"So-rry..."
"Jun!!! Jun, don't leave, stay with me!!! JUN!!!!!!" I heard Sho screaming before everything turned black.
Sho's pov:
I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe in Jun's words. Not him. My Jun wasn't like that. He would have never lied about his feelings for me. Our love was sincere and based on a deep trust, it was impossible that everything had been a lie. But despite my will to believe in him, I left the house, hearing him calling my name. I was too hurt to think properly. Tears were rolling down my cheeks and I wiped it angrily, refusing to cry in front of everybody but new tears fell again. What could I do? I wanted to leave but a part of my heart was begging me to stop. That I had to come back and make Jun tell the truth.
"Masaki?"After a night in a hotel, I called my friend, needing to hear his voice while I was taking the JR line to go to Narita. It was forbidden to call in Japanese's trains and subways but I didn't care.
"Hey, Sho-chan, you are not in bed with Jun-kun?" My friend asked cheerfully.
"Jun has left me this morning." I said calmly.
"What?!"
"He said he was in love with someone else." My heart tightened at these words, as if saying it made them come true.
"Sho, where are you?"
"I can't handle that, Masa. I can't stay when he loves someone else. He was mine." I sobbed.
"Sho, where are you for the fucking sake?!" I jumped when Masaki yelled.
"In the JR. I'm going to Narita."
"IDIOT!!!Sho, I warn you, don't you dare take the plane before I'm there!"
"I need to leave, Masa."
"I swear if you leave, I'll make you pay!!"
"I'm sorry, Masa." I hung up, laying my head against the seat.
I could see the landscape through the window, thinking it was the last time of my life that I was seeing Japan. I didn't even call my parents to tell them I was leaving forever. The travel was quick as JR line was like a plane, going very quickly and giving you the feeling it wasn't even touching the ground. I entered the big airport and looked for a plane for America. I was unsure about my decision to leave but Jun hurt me too much.
Suddenly, my eyes widened and I realized what I was trying to ignore for a moment now. Even before breaking up, Jun's behavior was weird. I remembered the bruises and Nino telling me Jun was avoiding him. And also, Jun's lost of weight.
"I'm so stupid!" I swore. If Jun had lied to me. If the bruises weren't due to baseball and someone was bullying him! This idiot would be enough idiot to hide me everything not to make me come back and kill the bastard who hurt him. I had so many times believed his words while in my heart, something was telling me he was lying. Maybe Jun had lied because of someone threatening him! I couldn't leave now. I had to be sure nobody was hurting Jun!
"Sho-chan!!" I jumped, Aiba's voice cutting my thoughts off.
"Masa?"
"Please, don't leave!!"
"I'm not leaving." I chuckled.
"Eh?!"
"I've remembered Jun's behavior is weird since I left for America. I need to see him a last time to be sure he is really fine."
"Oh God, your brain is finally working, thanks!"
"Oi!" I smacked Aiba's head, making my friend chuckle.
"Come on, we have to hurry!"
"Hun." We both took the JR for the second time and I realized I had several missed calls and a message. I paled at Nino's words and called him back immediately.
"Sho! What were you doing for God's sake?! Please don't take the plane!!" Nino killed my eardrum at the second he heard my voice.
"What's happening?"
"Jun is missing."
"What?!" I screamed, getting offended looks from the other passengers.
"He came to my place yesterday and was crying like a waterfall. He has left your house. And he told me everything."
"Eh?"
"A group of students is bullying him for several months."
"I was sure..." I tightened my fist, my jaw clenching in anger.
"And it's not over. Sho, Hana blackmailed him."
"Hana?!How?!"
"She has pictures of you two kissing and making love. She threatened him to leave you or she would spread the pictures at school and would give it to your parents."
"I..." I wasn't expecting that. Hana. I had completely forgotten her. This bitch.
"Sho, Jun stayed at my house to go to school with me but he has disappeared. He wasn't here anymore when I woke up. I'm very worried, Sho, with his asthma, how will he do if someone..." I could hear the fear in his voice.
"I'm on my way, in the JR express. I'll be at Tokyo in 45 minutes."
"Come to school directly. Maybe we will find him there."
"Okay. Thank you Nino."
"Hun."
"What did he want?" Aiba asked.
"I was right. Jun was bullied by other students and Hana blackmailed him."
"This bitch..." Aiba growled.
"I won't let her go with just a slap this time." I snapped. But suddenly, I felt a pain in my chest and gasped, my hand gripping my shirt.
"Sho?!"
"My chest hurts..." I moaned in pain.
"Shit, I'll call for help."
"No." I caught his arm to stop him. "Stay with me." I laid my head on his shoulder, breathing deeply to calm the pain.
I almost jumped from the train when we reached Tokyo. We found Nino not far from the school. He was calling Jun's name everywhere but there was none answer.
"Sho, you're here!" Nino smiled in relief.
"You still haven't found him?"
"No. I'll look in the park of the school, look in the building."
"Why do you think he is at school?" I frowned.
"He has nowhere to go and he took his uniform this morning."
"Mmm. I don't think he is here." I said but followed Nino's instructions. I called his name with despair but it was useless, Jun wasn't here. Suddenly, I heard Nino screaming.
"Sho, he is here!!!" I gasped and ran toward Nino's voice to scream in horror. Jun was on the ground, barely breathing, blood covering his skin.
"Jun!!!" I kneeled next to him and raised him in my arms. "Baby what they have done to you?!"
"Sh-o." Jun said weakly, panting heavily.
"Tsss, don't speak, the doctors are coming. Kazu, his inhalator!!!" My tears fell on his face and I realized I was crying. Jun raised his hand with difficulty to put it on my cheek.
"I'm so-rry."
"I know. It wasn't your fault. Inhale, now."I brought his inhalator to his mouth but Jun gagged, unable to inhale.
"I lo-ve Nii-chan so mu-ch." Jun smiled weakly before closing his eyes.
"Jun!!! Jun, don't close your eyes!!! Jun, wake up!!!" I screamed with despair, shaking his body.
"So-rry..."
"Jun!!! Jun, don't leave, stay with me!!! JUN!!!" I screamed before doctors pushed me away to bring Jun in the ambulance. "Let me stay with him!!" I yelled.
"Who are you?"
"I'm his brother and our parents are abroad!"
"Okay, come with us." I climbed in the ambulance and looked with horror at the doctors taking care of Jun. There was a lot of blood but not from a fatal wound. It seems the one who had done that had just cut his skin for the pleasure and anger born deep in my heart. I was going to kill the bastard who had done that to my Jun!
"Oxygen mask! Hurry up, we are losing him!"
"Jun..." I buried my face in my hands, knowing I couldn't do anything without bothering the doctors.
"Shit, I can't feel his heart!" The man said when we left the ambulance.
"Jun!!!" I cried.
"Sorry, sir, you can't come with us." A nurse prevented me to follow them.
"But my brother..."
"We are taking care of him, stay here please." She made me sit on a chair and the hell started.
"Sho, how is he?!" I saw Aiba and Nino running toward me.
"He is with the doctors. His heart... His heart has stopped when we arrived here. Maybe he is dead..." I sobbed.
"He will be fine." Aiba wrapped me in his arms.
"The doctor!" Nino showed a man in white coming toward us.
"Sensei, how is he?!" I almost screamed.
"The person who did that cut his skin but not deep enough to kill him. He was certainly doing that for the fun."
"This bastard..."
"But the problem was his asthma. His lungs were private of oxygen for too long."
