Summary: Ohno looses his voice after a traumatic experience. He is desperate and alone, rejected by the others because of his silence. One day, he meets Jun, a young diver addicted to the sea. With Jun's help, Ohno discovers another world where the silence is the most precious thing. Together, they learn another language: the language of the sea.
Chapter 7:
"Satoshi!!!" Jun cried and ran toward Ohno.
The silent man was curled in a small ball like a kitten. There just was a towel hiding his back and his whole body was shivering, but they knew it wasn't just because of the cold, there was fear too.
Jun turned delicately his face toward him and gulped. Lot of bruises could be seen on the beautiful chubby face, he even had a cut on his lower lip.
"What happened?! Who did that to you?!" Jun whispered painfully.
Ohno opened his eyes and a slight smile appeared on his swollen mouth.
"Ju-n~ I tol-d yo-u not to co-me," Ohno whispered with difficulty.
"Calm down baby, it's over, I’ll take you home. Masaki, give me the clothes!"
Aiba held out Ohno's clothes and Jun dressed up the sleepy man who couldn't even make a move. He had to keep his tears and his screams when he saw Satoshi's harmed body and his scar on his chest. The older looked so weak, so vulnerable as if he could break during the next second.
Jun lifted Ohno in his arms and left the apartment with Aiba.
They laid him on the back seat of the car and Jun drove them home.
"I'll kill him! This Yamada is a dead man!!" Jun shouted to the road.
"Calm down, Jun, it won’t help Ohchan if you're like that," Aiba whispered softly.
"I know, but... You saw his body and his face?! How can I stay calm?! This bastard raped him, Ma-chan, how did he dare put his dirty fingers on Satoshi?!"
Aiba sighed with despair. He felt the same but was trying to stay calm for Ohno. When they arrived, Jun carried the sleepy man in his bedroom and laid him on his own bed. Ohno curled in a ball, whimpering.
"It's over, Satoshi, it's over."
Jun stroked his cheek lovingly and covered Ohno with the blanket.
"Ju-n..." Ohno whispered.
"Yes? You need something?"
"St-ay wi-th m-e."
Jun smiled and took his hand to kiss it softly. "I stay with you, I'll never leave you. I love you."
A weak smile appeared on Ohno's face before he closed his eyes and fell asleep, exhausted. After one hour stroking his hair and kissing his hands, Jun left the bedroom. Aiba was sitting on the sofa with Sho next to him. When they saw Jun's pale face, Sho hugged him tightly, whispering gentle words while Jun was crying on his neck.
"He needs a doctor, Jun," Sho whispered after his friend had calmed down.
"No. Nobody will touch him anymore," Jun's voice snapped back.
"Jun, he is wounded, he needs a doctor," Aiba protested.
"I said no!"
"But, Jun..."
"Stop that Ma-chan. Jun isn't ready," Sho cut his lover off with a sad look. "I made a tea for you, you need to rest, you’re very tired," Sho added and made Jun sit down on the sofa.
The diver buried his face in his knees without a word. He just needed loneliness and calm.
"Masaki?" Jun said suddenly.
"Hum?"
"Tell me about his past," Jun asked.
Aiba froze and almost broke his glass of tea. Sho stared at his lover with a curious look but Aiba looked away.
"I can't."
"I don't care, tell me!"
"You're not ready, Jun."
"Aiba!" Jun shouted, looking furiously at his friend.
"You can beat me, you can shout or what you want but I won't say a word, you're not in a normal state, you're not ready to hear that," Aiba said coldly and his friends looked at him, surprised by his tone.
"Masaki..." Sho tried.
"Stop that, now, Sho! You don't know anything about Ohchan and I'm not the right person to tell you about him. He'll do it himself!"
"Why?"
"You're so naïve, Jun. You think you can bear that?! You're so naïve, since I know the truth, I can't even sleep well, I have these pictures in my mind every night and I can't erase it, it's so horrible, I can't forget it, I can't..." Aiba started to cry loudly and Sho took him in his arms.
"Calm down, baby, calm down. We are sorry, we didn't want make you remember," Sho whispered.
"You should talk with Ohchan, Jun. It's his past; I don’t have the right to tell you this nightmare. And I think it will be the only way for Ohchan to move forward and forget his devils." Aiba looked at Jun with an apologetic smile and his friend nodded.
They left their friend some minutes later, Jun wanted to be alone and Sho knew he wouldn't be able to make him change his mind, Jun was as stubborn as Nino and trying to change their minds was as easy as lightening clever in a cow's eyes.
"I'm very worried," Sho mumbled to his lover.
"About Ohchan?"
"About Jun too. I never saw him like that before and it's not good, he could make a mistake."
"We can look after him. Tomorrow we'll visit them." Aiba smiled and his lover nodded, lost in his thoughts.

The next day, they found their best friend lying on the floor in front of Ohno's bedroom door. Aiba shook his shoulder lightly and Jun blinked with difficulty.
"Why are you lying on the floor, Jun?" Aiba asked.
"I fell asleep," Jun mumbled.
"How is Ohchan?" Sho stared at his friend worriedly. Jun's face was as white as a zombie, with big dark shadows under his eyes.
"Better, I guess." Jun looked away, sadness crossing his eyes.
"Something happened?"
"If you don't count he made crisis the whole night and when I wanted to touch him he pushed me away, everything is perfect!" Jun replied sarcastically.
"You can't touch him? But yesterday..."
"I know that, Aiba. But after you left, he made nightmares all night and didn't allow me to approach him. Ah, and he lost his voice again." Jun stood up and walked to his kitchen to drink a big dark coffee. "I'm a stranger to him again. I even couldn't touch his arm. It's as if he forgot about me," Jun whispered in a painful voice.
Aiba hugged his friend from behind. He understood what Jun felt. He was there when the younger had healed Ohno during lots of months. His friend had been very patient and kind toward the silent man and now, all of his work was spoiled because of this bastard.
"Jun?" Aiba suddenly asked.
"Hum?"
"You remember why Ohno started to let you touch him?"
"The sea..." Jun blinked.
"Yes, the sea. I don't know why Ohchan feels so safe in the water but I think it could be good for him if you took him at the beach."
"And how? He doesn't want me to touch him!" Jun replied in a harsh tone. "Sorry, I didn't want to yell at you." Jun swallowed his coffee and moved to his bathroom.
His friends looked at him, very worried. They didn't know that man! Where was the kind and smiling Jun they knew since childhood?
"Maybe we should call Nino, with his nasty attitude he could make Jun wake up," Aiba mumbled.
Sho nodded. Yes it wasn't a bad idea. Nino and his sharp tongue were the only way to shake the younger.
Suddenly, there was a loud noise but before they could react, they saw Jun rushing into Ohno's bedroom, panicked. When Aiba and Sho followed the younger, they almost screamed in front of the view. Ohno was lying on the ground, crying in silence and fighting against...nothing. And when Jun tried to touch him, the older screamed silently and pushed him away with violence.
"Satoshi! Please baby, let me touch you. It's a nightmare, wake up!" Jun implored with despair.
The older blinked, opening his eyes with surprise. He look at Jun but curled into a ball when the younger tried to touch his arm. Ohno's whole body was shaking in fear, looking like a lost puppy. Jun tried to touch him again but Ohno looked up and Sho's heart stopped. He had never seen a look like that before. There just were fear and pain inside these beautiful chocolate eyes, usually shining with kindness and calm. Many bruises could be seen on his chubby face.
"Jun, he needs a doctor,." Sho said finally.
"No. I can't even touch him, how a stranger could?!" Jun replied in a cold voice.
"I know but we can try to take him at hospital, he needs medicine."
"NO! Nobody will touch him, he suffered enough, I don't want him to be more traumatized."
"Jun, he is already traumatized. Seriously, we have to show him to a professional." Sho tried.
"No." Jun replied stubbornly.
"I see you're still an idiot, BakaMoto!" A voice said behind Aiba and Sho.
"Kazu," Jun whispered.
Nino smiled and kneeled next to him. He wrapped his friend in his arms and hugged him tightly.
"Jun, Sho is right, Ohchan needs a doctor." Nino whispered, stroking his friend's back.
Jun looked at his serious eyes and after a while, nodded. Nino smiled sadly and kissed his forehead with tenderness. He had never seen his best friend so vulnerable before today. The singer helped him to stand up and grabbed his phone.
"Hai~ Nino desu. You remember you owe me something? I need the best doctor for my friend, now!" Nino said in his phone. "Hai. Wakarimashita."
"Kazu?"
"My friend will come in a few minutes, he'll take care of Ohchan, you can trust him, he is the best," Nino explained.
Just five minutes later, the doorbell rang and a handsome man entered into the apartment. He was tall with brown hair and a kind and serious look.
"You woke me up, Kazu, you know?!" the doctor mumbled.
"Relax, Pi, I know you would do anything for me." Nino smirked with arrogance.
"In your dreams, arrogant brat. So~ where is our little patient?"
"In the bedroom, but nobody can touch him," Jun whispered.
"Oh, I'll see, and by the way, I'm Yamashita Tomohisa but call me Yamapi." Yamapi bowed and walked to the bedroom.
His expression didn't change when he saw Ohno, still curled on the floor. He opened his suitcase and took something inside.
"Ma ma ma. You're not in a very good state, puppy. What happened to you?" Yamapi said more to himself than to the others.
"A student of his class raped him," Aiba answered.
Yamapi froze, a disgusted look appearing on his beautiful face.
"This man deserves the same thing," Yamapi whispered. "Eh, puppy, I'm Yamapi, I'm here to take care of you," the doctor said softly.
When he touched Ohno's arm, the silent man shouted silently and pushed him away.
"Ok. I see what we have here," Yamapi approached Ohno again and took his arm.
Ohno screamed again and scratched his skin but the doctor caught him in his arms.
"You're in security, calm down, I'm here to help you, puppy. Calm down, calm down." Yamapi repeated.
At the beginning, Ohno tried to fight against him but finally gave up and curled in his arms, shaking in fear. The doctor patted his back and, after a while, made an injection to him. He laid Ohno on the bed and took his clothes off.
"He needs to sleep. I'll check his injuries during this time and we'll see if he needs to go to the hospital," Yamapi said.
Jun sat down on the bed and stroked Ohno's cheek softly while the doctor was touching the bruises on Satoshi's chest. After a lot of hours for Jun, Yamapi stood up and left the bedroom.
"Pi?" Nino asked.
"He has very bad injuries; the man who did that is a real monster. I've healed all of it but if you don't want to take him to an hospital, I need to see him every day," Yamapi said while he was putting his shoes on.
"Thanks Yamapi," Nino smiled.
"You're welcome, Kazu. But you owe me a coffee, don't forget." Yamapi smiled and kissed Nino's forehead making the singer blush deeply.
"Your new lover, NinoNino?" Aiba teased.
"Shut up, Aibaka!" Nino snapped and looked away, blushing.
"Thanks, Kazu." Jun whispered gratefully.
Nino smiled at him and kissed his lips.
"I would do anything for you my J," Nino whispered in his ear and the younger hugged him tightly, burying his face in his neck.

Time passed and Ohno's injuries disappeared slowly but the only person who could approach him was Yamapi. When Jun tried to touch him, the silent man started to cry and curled up in a ball, afraid. Jun needed something to win Ohno's trust back and there was a thing, only one thing. The sea.
The younger was waiting for Ohno to have fully recovered, losing his appetite and many kilos, dark shadows growing under his eyes.
"Jun, I'm worried for you, you look like a zombie, you're too thin and pale," Nino said one day.
"I know," Jun replied, a bit annoyed.
"Are you sure you want to do it?" Yamapi asked. "You could traumatize him even more."
"I know. But I want to try."
The doctor nodded and walked to Ohno's bedroom. The silent man was next to the window, looking at the sky with empty eyes. For three weeks, Ohno had been sitting on the sofa next to the window and looking at the sky during a lot of hours, sometimes, tears rolling down his cheeks. When he heard Yamapi, he froze but didn't move.
"Ohno, I would like to take you somewhere, would you follow me?" Yamapi asked.
Ohno raised his eyes toward him and bit his lip, tears filling his eyes.
"I promise we won't go to your home, I just want to walk."
Ohno nodded a bit hesitantly and the doctor led him to his car.
Ohno's eyes widened when he saw the sea and he looked at the doctor, a bit surprised. Yamapi smiled and stopped the car. They walked on the sand, the beach almost empty at this hour. Ohno moved toward the sea, his feet in the fresh water making him shiver. When some fishes swam toward him and bit his skin kindly, a big smile appeared on his face. He kneeled in the water and played with the fishes with his fingers, his heart beating faster in happiness. A weight left his painful heart and the sleepy man looked at the beautiful landscape, memories invading his heart while he thought about all his wonderful moments here. A tear rolled down his cheek to his mouth, but it wasn't a tear of pain, it was a tear of joy.
Even if I go through the worst things, I know, now, that the sea will always wait for me and my true friends will help me to move on.
Jun.
I was so horrible with you while you were trying to comfort me, to save me. Would you forgive my horrible person? Would you accept my life even with my painful moments? Would you accept my feelings for you, even if I'm dirty and disgusting? Please, Jun, don't push me away, I couldn't bear it if you're not by my side to overcome my pain...
"It's beautiful, ne?" A voice made Ohno jumped.
The silent man turned his head and saw Jun who was looking at him with shy eyes and biting his lip nervously. Ohno walked toward him, slowly at first and then, almost ran into his arms, crying silently while the younger was tightening his hold, whispering comforting words in his ear. Ohno buried his face in his favorite warm chest, wishing he could speak to apology.
"Don't worry, I'm here, I'll always be here for you. I love you, Satoshi," Jun said, looking in the shy eyes in front of him and Ohno showed him the most beautiful smile he ever made.

"Thanks, Kazu." Jun whispered gratefully.
Nino smiled at him and kissed his lips.
"I would do anything for you my J," Nino whispered in his ear and the younger hugged him tightly, burying his face in his neck.

Time passed and Ohno's injuries disappeared slowly but the only person who could approach him was Yamapi. When Jun tried to touch him, the silent man started to cry and curled up in a ball, afraid. Jun needed something to win Ohno's trust back and there was a thing, only one thing. The sea.
The younger was waiting for Ohno to have fully recovered, losing his appetite and many kilos, dark shadows growing under his eyes.
"Jun, I'm worried for you, you look like a zombie, you're too thin and pale," Nino said one day.
"I know," Jun replied, a bit annoyed.
"Are you sure you want to do it?" Yamapi asked. "You could traumatize him even more."
"I know. But I want to try."
The doctor nodded and walked to Ohno's bedroom. The silent man was next to the window, looking at the sky with empty eyes. For three weeks, Ohno had been sitting on the sofa next to the window and looking at the sky during a lot of hours, sometimes, tears rolling down his cheeks. When he heard Yamapi, he froze but didn't move.
"Ohno, I would like to take you somewhere, would you follow me?" Yamapi asked.
Ohno raised his eyes toward him and bit his lip, tears filling his eyes.
"I promise we won't go to your home, I just want to walk."
Ohno nodded a bit hesitantly and the doctor led him to his car.
Ohno's eyes widened when he saw the sea and he looked at the doctor, a bit surprised. Yamapi smiled and stopped the car. They walked on the sand, the beach almost empty at this hour. Ohno moved toward the sea, his feet in the fresh water making him shiver. When some fishes swam toward him and bit his skin kindly, a big smile appeared on his face. He kneeled in the water and played with the fishes with his fingers, his heart beating faster in happiness. A weight left his painful heart and the sleepy man looked at the beautiful landscape, memories invading his heart while he thought about all his wonderful moments here. A tear rolled down his cheek to his mouth, but it wasn't a tear of pain, it was a tear of joy.
Even if I go through the worst things, I know, now, that the sea will always wait for me and my true friends will help me to move on.

I was so horrible with you while you were trying to comfort me, to save me. Would you forgive my horrible person? Would you accept my life even with my painful moments? Would you accept my feelings for you, even if I'm dirty and disgusting? Please, Jun, don't push me away, I couldn't bear it if you're not by my side to overcome my pain...
"It's beautiful, ne?" A voice made Ohno jumped.
The silent man turned his head and saw Jun who was looking at him with shy eyes and biting his lip nervously. Ohno walked toward him, slowly at first and then, almost ran into his arms, crying silently while the younger was tightening his hold, whispering comforting words in his ear. Ohno buried his face in his favorite warm chest, wishing he could speak to apology.
"Don't worry, I'm here, I'll always be here for you. I love you, Satoshi," Jun said, looking in the shy eyes in front of him and Ohno showed him the most beautiful smile he ever made.
