disagree. while he's got some great points, (middle eastern oil, taks testing, education) i'm really turned off by no political experience. it only takes a monkey to say i'll do this and that, but to actually follow through on your actions takes experience. plus i disagree with allowing gambling to be legal.
stupid lj won't let me respond...i'll try now. I just think public gambling leads to things like increased public intoxication, verbal and sexual abuse, and i think that people who have problems end up screwing up, and i don't think it does any good to anybody. same thing happened in wv
I'm not sure. I'd have to go with Ben on the whole lack of experience thing. Experience and corruption are different things, even if they mostly go hand in hand. Sure, I don't agree with the gay thing, but his other points are excellent. I'd prefer him as governor to Rick Perry, definitely. If he had at least a little experience. He can't just keep turning to the guy behind him and say, "Now what am I supposed to do." all through his governing. But, we'll see. Maybe I'll vote his way, I don't know.
