Very nice--I don't think it's bitter sweet at all, I rather like the ending.

However, why do you have Ten labeled as being Welsh?

She sat down between them, thankful she didn’t feel as though she was sandwiched between a pair of bookends since the first Doctor had undergone regeneration since she’d last seen him.

Does that help? I just figured I'd make Eleven a little on the Welsh side as though he'd been spending some time with the Torchwood group in Cardiff.

Hmm, Rose gets to keep her man, gets to ogle Jack and Doc Ten, interact with them for as long as possible before they go back, and help him to understand that not ALL things are set in stone... FANTASTIC!
