I totally felt that Sam got shafted in 5x01, so this was really nice to see! Loved how Jack was completely blank on "Colonel Carter" until Paul told Jack that it was "Carter"! Heee. *g*

I felt Jack could have either been pre-occupied or trying to blow his visitor off. But then he hears who it actually is and *boom!* of course he has to see her :)

Ohh I like this. A different take on Sam and Jack's conversation after she got back from Atlantis. I love that you included Davis and how he appears to know about the 'personal' situation.

And Sam being angry with him was nice, but he diffused her and it all ended well.
