I've just started reading the Legends over, which has more King-priest stuff, so I'll probably have a follow-up post on him once I've gotten further in. So far, it's confirming most of my memories: The King-priest is a racist slaver bent on what sounds like genocide. Definitely a paragon of Good.

Not tired of them, no; in fact, I've been lurking surreptitiously since yhlee linked to your first one. Haven't read Dragonlance in ages, but I like seeing it discussed.
