Nifty bit about basic copyright

Patent Arcade has an excellent little post about copyright, using a recent example of Conan O'Brien and the world of Super Mario. No case has been filed (and I doubt one will), but it makes for a handy illustration of what exactly is at question when someone claims copyright infringement, and the some of the possible defenses for that claim ( Read more... )

I tried to be an intelligent observer while wading through the article and legal-eaze the end of it... but I all I could think about was "Jeez, why is this whole darn thing underlined!?"

It didn't render properly in Google Chrome as you can see here.

I kept wanting to "click-it" as if it was a gigantic hyper-link.

Yeah, I haven't been impressed with their current web set-up; on Firefox, the headers for each post often overlap with the actual text of the body. Not very good CSS, I'm afraid.
