I hang out with roleplayers so that I can become a real sports fan
So, tonight I attended a match of the Gotham Girls Roller Derby with various NYC Nerds, including the always-cheerful youngiskander and several people from Burning Wheel Headquarters. It had been about six years, by my count, since I had attended any sort of organized sporting event (boffer fighting does NOT count), and I have to admit, it was really awesome
