By the way I've been playing that Wesnoth game...the scenarios have addicted me! They're such high fantasy/gaming/LARP/geek scenarios! HOLD THE LINE against the undead with +8 healers! Very fun.

Yay! Glad you are enjoying it. You definitely "get" Wesnoth. It's *all* about formation, i.e., holding the line, rotating out troops who are wounded with fresh troops, and so on. I really want there to be Wesralis.

Playing against humans is very different though, so anytime you want to throw down, let me know.

I suspect if we played on a bigger map, maybe it would become about holding the line. That might get really interesting. You already definitely put together powerful formations of mutually supporting troops.

On bigger maps it's harder to use ZoC to prevent flanking, but the overall tactics are pretty similar, IME.
